How else would you attach the toast?

Whatever floats your boat man ;)

I’d probably feel better with the bin and new toast or the 10sec rule on the kitchen floor.

I don’t know about catty, hairy toast but horses for courses, I guess...

Duct taped cats - not even funny.
Put duct tape in your hair and try to remove it, see how you like it.
Cruel.
Sorry, Classwife. Didn't mean to offend anyone. It was meant to be satire joke. I'm pretty sure the images were photoshopped.

Ever tried to remove a piece of toast from a toaster with a knife ?. I woke up on the kitchen floor not knowing how long i'd been unconscious for.

I know !, how stupid am i ?. I was only a teenager when i did that though, still, not a very good excuse !.

Stupid stupid stupid !.
No, not “stupid”....ignorant maybe...Stupid is terminal...ignorance just requires education...I.E. experiance isthe best teacher, provided you survive...

Done that too !. To be more specific, i got sick of getting heat rash from cycling long distance. I won't go into details (but what part of the body do you think you may get heat rash from cycling ?). So, i decided to try duct tape, except i didn't shave. Trying to peal it off hurt so much that at one time i was considering just leaving it on and forgetting about it.

Seriously, you may think i'm exaggerating, but i'm not.

For those who aren't familiar with this problem of heat rash i'd just like to point out that duct tape prevents friction when placed between the skin and the saddle, just so long as it's stuck firmly to the skin, then no friction occurs.

I eventually got a much more comfortable saddle.

Try cycling 50 miles on one of those lightweight racing saddles, then you'll know what i mean.

So, I was making a coil. Cut off a workable length of Kanthal, and was securing the end of the spool. This was the moment the cat decided to take a little stroll across my lap and the workspace. Stuff went flying, shooed the cat, and went hunting for my wire. Spent 10 min. or so, cussing, and no go. Cut new piece, wrapped coil, installed, burn, wick etc.------
Today i went to get fresh battery from charger, and guess what is laying across batteries, perilously close to the contacts? Riiiiight. My Kanthal...
I'm gonna mount my charger on a vertical surface like right now!!!

Sounds like you got lucky!

I don't think that story was boring, LOL any of them, really. I have trodden on a "failed" coil or snip of wire or two, barefoot.

It doesn't bug me, but I'm the kind of foot person who will take the trash out, heavy trash, barefoot and over stones and whatever else. The more you go barefoot... The better it gets. I'm always sad when 'shoe season" (it's too HOT to do it outside) comes around. LOL.

Walk barefoot in shoe season......hopscotch skills through the roof.

Came close enough to the same thing an hour ago. I let water overflow the kitchen sink, and when I tried to pull the plug I got a surprising shock. Anyway, enough to get my attention. The water ran across the drain board (appropriately named) and caused some sort of short in the toaster. At least I put on shoes and unplugged it with a reacher. Didn't knock me out, though.
