The contact is BeCu from a 35A power relay. Very springy.

It actually seems pretty light. I'll weigh it when I get back home.

That's why I said "almost done".... I just need to smooth the edges and she'll be 100%.

also hp you should consider putting a mosfet in there, looks like you have enough room, and that would take the "supposed" out of your switch rating

Great job CC it's looking very nice and I like the fact that you went with the dibie style squonk hole. I think when you're all done you should give it a brushed finish because if you buff and polish this it'll be a fingerprint magnet

I actually went back over all the corners with the corner rounding end mill and made a light pass over both sides with the fly cutter, just to clean it up a bit. We're talkin' .001" finishing passes...

I'm kinda diggin' it.

Alright, I just weighed this thing. Fully loaded with battery, juice, and an RM2, it's 8.3oz.

My LP grand, configured the exact same way, 6.6oz.

Definitely built like a tank...

On the next couple I build, I'll probably thin 'em out a little. No real need to be this thick....
