Could you please post comparison pics with other mods you have?

To better understand the ergonomic difference, look at how my fingers end up on the two different models. With the 18650, it's perfect fit on my hand for that hold, while with the LIPo my finger joints don't quite make it past the battery. So with the LiPo version, I'll probably have to hold it the other way shown in the above photos to make it a more comfortable hold. Time will tell...

And to the extent anyone what's to know my hand size, I wear large size gloves in the winter. ;)

Thanks for that lengthy response. Based on your description, the alumylon is exactly what I am looking for. Because of the way I use the Boxer, it frequently ends up in the pocket of a bag with pens, laptop charger, etc and even my Opus (which is creosote (spelling?) coated) has been getting scratched. Having a strong, natural finish is a must and being able to wipe it off is a huge plus. Additionally, having that shine in the light just sounds cool. I feel the same as you with the other colors, although I''ll probably wish I got a green or orange - but that just wouldn't be practical for me and they probably wouldn't look so great in a week or two and that would drive me crazy because of my OCD'ish tendencies.

As far as the chip goes, I think you'll love the it. I haven't had an SX350J for comparison, but it is a far superior chip to the IPV4's 330 (although so is the SX lol) But still, the customizability and preheat are big pluses just on their own.

Thanks again for your help, I'll be ordering my 133 Boxer ASAP.

Assuming that you have sent it back already, but did you have a chance to have a shot of the black and the alumylon next to each other from any angle?

Yozhik: happy to hear that the turn out was so fast for you.

Also wanted to thank you as well for providing those pictures of the alumylon Boxer. I just ordered my DNA133 Boxer in alumylon with a pair of VTC5s. I have been telling everyone this because I'm so excited, so I apologize about that lol. Shipping is estimated to be September 10th and that was moved back from "first week of September" several days ago, so hopefully there are no more delays because I can't wait to see what the Boxer is like in person.

Got a new tracking number/shipping confirmation from GV a couple of hours ago. The original tracking number from last week showed Priority Mail 2-day service with $100 insurance and the new one shows just Priority Mail with $50 insurance. From using the delivery estimation map at USPS, it looks like it should still arrive by Saturday - if the USPS doesn't delay it. Otherwise it'll be Tuesday before it's in hand due to the holiday.

I got a tracking number earlier too. I wouldn't worry too much about the insurance, seeing as how GV provides the warranty.

Oh, I'm not worried, but I don't know how their warranty would help if USPS loses the parcel. On a $225 dollar mod, $100 vs $50 isn't that big of a difference because you're going to lose out big either way. More than anything, I thought at first it was going to be a slower shipping method compared to what I paid for, that's all... but it looks like it's still the same speed.
Regardless, I don't know why it wouldn't be sent out the same way it was the first time.

Received a response from GV. Turns out GV does insure for full value, it's just not shown in the tracking page USPS provides. Instead, USPS just tells you the minimum insurance included with the service being used, so as to confuse us. ;)

Ah, so typical USPS

Good to hear! Maybe USPS will actually deliver on schedule, lol. Thanks for confirming with GV.

^ I just went with the regular shipping assuming that shipping NY to NJ would be fast, not thinking about something going wrong. Do you know if they are shipping from their NY or FL location because I still have several days to talk to them about shipping.
Mine was out of NY.

@Yozhik - any updates to your tracking number?

So the battery life will be the same as the single battery mods then
Not quite. You don't add the mah together like everyone says you can. You figure the watt/ hour. Which makes sense because utilities charge us for every kilowatt/hour.

2 VTC5s: 2600 × 7.4V / 1000 = 19.24 watt/hour

1 VTC5: 2600 × 3.7 / 1000 = 9.62 watt/hour

In my experience, vaping at 25 watts, 4-5 seconds per puff, for 14 hours, with 581 puffs, I only used 50% of the batteries capacity. This was using two sony vtc5s.
