Yes, the dual 18650 DNA 133 Boxer is said to be the same size as the SX350J Boxer. I believe I have asked for a picture that confirmed that before I ordered.

I think I've used the 200 watt pre-heat one time on my Opus when I had a nickel clapton in an RDA. I may be missing out but I would think the 133 watt preheat would cut it on almost all of the atomizers I use because I use tanks 75% of the time and then the preheat is never higher than 100 watts. Even on a "bigger" build, I would think that 133 watt preheat and then 100 watt setting would be pretty sufficient. That is just my experience, but I'm sure others will add to that. I suppose the most important follow up is what wattage do you generally vape and what types of builds do you run?

That answered my question very well! I'm not running high mass coils etc and to be honest doubt if ever need even 133w but you never know!! I really like the boxer ff and the slightly reduced size of the 133 dual 650 has pretty much sold me I think!!
Cheers

I vape at 25 watts with a preheat setting at 100 watts. The dna already knows that 100 watts will overly exceed my temp setting, so it starts at around 40 watts. This preheat setting alone is awsome. It acts the same way as my 200 mod, so I'm not sacrificing anything. Same great vape. I'm using two vtc5s and I'm on the second day from a full charge since yesterday. I'm standing at 53% battery life at the moment. I don't think I'll need to get any lg g2 batteries like I planned.

I'm just asking cause I would like to know if it's easy to do it compared to the SX 350
In a flask, very very very difficult. In the boxer, it's very easy. The soldering pads make it much easier than through holes. Only 4 pads to solder and the 510 to solder, screw it in the case, solder the battery contacts, assemble and vape. I don't know this is the exact order to put together the boxer but it's that simple.

In a vaporflask, yes. I was commenting on how the dna200 alone works with dual 18650s, which is really really awesome.

Really good to hear that the dual 18650s work nicely with the DNA133/200. The Opus's 1000 mah LiPo has been becoming increasingly more satisfying to me, actually lasting the whole day. I'm not sure if it has "broken in" over 20+ full discharges/charges or if I am vaping less, but that got me wondering if the dual 18650s were really necessary for the battery life. On the other hand, my order is in already and they do make the Boxer smaller which is one of the main reasons I bought it, that and I wanted something unique in design over the prototypical square/rectangular mod like a Vaporshark that soon everyone will have (for good reason though because it looks great too).

I'd disagree with that. They Yihi chip is simply. Positive, negative and 510 wires already come pre-soldered from Yihi. Just a few simply connections for the user to make.

With the Evolv, nothing. Not sure how GV will do the dual 18650, but you will first need to either solder in the JST connector for balance charging (or wires to 3 of the 4 pins holes and bridging 2 together). You'll need to connect two (2) wires to each of those solder pads (for battery contact and balance charging) as well as the ground pad and 510 pad. There have been a few already reporting that the solder pads have been lifting off the board too (probably from overheating). Would have made it much easier for us modders if Evolv put solder holes in lieu of those pads like they did for the balance charging.

I might be wrong and while it's nice to save that $75 on the kit versus the assembled unit, but i wouldn't recommend this as a kit unless someone is quite experienced with soldering.

So been playing with the DNA200 Boxer LiPo since Saturday. Mixed feelings about the chip, but I'm not going to discuss that. Rather, in terms of the mod construction itself, I really do like the Alumylon. It's got an interesting sparkly effect, but it's really the grainy texture of the mod that I like. However, I'm not loving the LiPo aspect all that much. It doesn't last anywhere near as long as a dual 18650 mod and adds noticeably bulk. Since I primarily use RTAs, the 200W preheat is way too much (i.e., nasty initial hit), so I don't use a preheat over 100W on even the biggest coils that I use. Also, charging it at 0.5 Amps takes forever, which is what happens if I forget to charge it overnight (unless I want to sit next a power socket rather than my laptop). So if I were to buy it again, I'd definitely go with the dual 18650 version in Alumylon.

I decided to give LiPos a chance, but I don't need the high-rate discharge for what I do and 18650s are way more compact, have better battery life, and are way more convenient for how I vape. On the other hand, if one is big into heavy gauge coils, particularly in drippers, a preheat over 133W could make a difference.

I agree. Even in series, two vtc5s will last me well over two days with the dna200. My dna 200 beta with the 900mah lipo sits on the shelf because I need to add charge to it at least 3-5 times a day. With two 18650s, I never worry about battery life at all. I finish the day with 60% remaining.

My friend pointed out that only using the 18650s to 3.6-3.7 volts a day will greatly increase the 18650's lifespan instead of draining them all the way to 3.3 volts. I didn't think about that but he's right.
