You know you shouldnt be getting dry hits so something is wrong with your setup. Maybe give us a bit of info and maybe we can get you up and running properly! Shame if you end up giving up TC because when it works, it really is excellent. I havent used a kanthal build in anger for months (except on my little tootle puffer buddha mini, but even that will be TC'd soon lol)
Was looking for a rechargeable TC mod and out of the new lipo dna 200s it came down to this or wait for a lavabox.
Decided to take the plunge on the boxer in Alumylon. I'm tired of metal mods clanking around in my pocket or having to 'cover' them so the finish doesn't get scratched up. Looking to try something different and the boxer fits the bill.
I'll post up when I get it and fit it up with a GEM in a week or so.

Looking at discharge charts for various batteries (and it will vary), I'd say between 3.3V and 3.5V makes sense. They can go lower but it's more drain and strain, fewer cycles, -Mags
Hi guys. I'm new to vaping (quit from cigarettes a few months ago) and I love seeing all the support out here for vaping!
I started with a kanger sub tank mini and decided to get an upgrade. I spent hours reviewing box mods and found out about the DNA200. After looking at boxes with the DNA200, this just looked the best IMO. I just ordered the alumylon LiPo.
Still learning but it appears this will be the best mod to buy and the last mod I'll need to buy for a while and get me through all the steps as I get more comfortable with vaping and maybe make my way to dripping.
I'll probably use the kanger for driving, on the road, and this baby will be my go to box.

Buit my DIY dna 133w the other day all went well but it turns on with one press of the fire button and then it won't turn
off unless you take the batteries out.Anyone else experience this ?I thought its supposed to turn on with five clicks of the fire button.
5 clicks will lock and unlock. The only way to really shut it off would be to disconnect the battery. And it starts with one push of the button so everything is working fine with yours. I hope they update escribe to be able to turn the device off for safety reasons.
There was an explanation in the evolv threads from Evolv as to why there is no power off. Don't recall the exact reasoning but believe the chip is doing a few things while it is in sleep mode. Think it goes into deep sleep after 60 minutes?
No kidding? You can't turn it off? That seems like an accident waiting to happen - because I understand there is not cutoff time setting either. So it can theoretically be pressed until temperature protection kicks in?
