For whoever needs them , these screws are totally flat underneath and they are the correct size for the Kayfun , if you order the matching hex nuts to go with them and use the nuts as a washer it gives you a lot more surface area to catch the wire , I have both of my Kayfuns set up with them , cuts back on the frustration level big time , rebuilding is a piece of cake with'em .

I didnt think anyone would reply to my post

What a cool community

Ryedan. Thats funny i have 2 kayfuns and one of them is a rocket one - holy .... that one sucked to build but wow I'm getting so much time with these coils with no burnt taste. Going on 3 months with no change with the rocket (just re wicking)

But generally the toughest part for me is wrapping it around the damn screws while trying to keep coil somewhat centered on airhole and screwing down the screw at same time. I'm so use to making a coil and inserting them through HOLES on rbas/rtas etc. the suggestion about wrapping the wire around the screw one whole entire time sounds neat and will try

Cool post on atomizer seats - thank you

People posted link for some new screws - I'm guessing wrapping the wire around these screws are easier ? Thank you for posting.

Whats this elven queen ? Beautiful coil - what are those things on the sides it doesn't even look like a kayfun deck is it ?

Idk it just seems awkward to me with the wrapping around thing - i rather insert through a hole :) -

Thanks all for all the great ideas and suggestions. !! You guys rock !

The screws that are posted are flat instead of rounded. The rounded screws can cause the legs to pop out from under the screw. The flat screws make that less likely to Happen.
I've noticed if I wrap the legs around one screw, then position the coil, then wrap it around the other screw it tends to stay in pace allot easier. Basically I use one screw as an anchor point.

Hey all,

Ok - I give up - without 3 hands building the one kayfun clone I have is pure insanity for me - 3 hands and can bang it out one two three

Is there an rta out there that has good flavoring but easier to build - like with holes instead of screws to wrap around (I know kayfun has holes below the screws but I never see anyone use them -

What is an rta that I can go to next that has clones available and is little easier to build ?

Thanks so much
Squape. Super simple, you can rebuild it even if it's filled.

It's a total mystery. I've looked high an low and can't find anything on it in English.

I had Chrome translate the page for me. It doesn't reveal much. I don't even know if those clear sleeves in the pics are glass or plastic. It would be nice if they were glass. Seems they're held in place with o-rings, so it's possible.

I learned that it takes practice. On my kayfun the screw tops are not flat so the wire kept slipping. Needless to say I was a bit frustrated but I ended up wrapping the wire around the screw and it worked just fine. I am looking for better screws at the moment. The kayfun is one of the easiest to build if all goes right.

I have the same problem with my screws.. and as you said.. just need to wrap the wire totally around the screw.. honestly it's not that much of a PITA after you do it a few times..

personally, I think the kayfun is pretty easy to build and I haven't used an RBA since last year..

Haha- I'm gonna go to a b&m just ask if they know what it is. I wanna see the look on their face.
