Problem: Some of my vape hardware is consistently giving me an off, burned vapor flavor.

vaping gear:
  • Aspire ESP 30w/nautilus Mini (tastes burned)
  • Itazte VV (tastes great!)
  • Kamry E-Pipe K1000 (tastes good)
Juice: Several brands and flavors.

I've tried: Washing out the Mini tank. Replacing the coil. Trying different liquids. Adjusting the wattage and airflow.

Plea for help: I had high hopes for this being the favorite vape setup, but it's consistently giving me the worst vape experience. Why?

That's odd... So your nautilus mini taste is good on the itaste but burned on the aspire?

Try setting the aspire to its lowest setting, now start vaping & slowly going up in watts. Depending the resistance of your coilhead (1.8-2.5 I think) you should get a nice vape between 7-13 watt I suppose.

My replacement coil is 1.5 Ohms. Similar to (but perhaps not identical to) the one it came equipped with.

No, my Nautilus lives only on the SP30. I have the stock tank on the itazte. I have two of them, been washing them out and switching them. But they are performing well. As is the e-pipe with it's stock tank.

Do you juices all have the same amount of VG and if so is that a high amount 70% or above ?

You could be drawing in too fast.

Have you let the wick in the coils get soaked with liquid ? After filling close of the air holes then take a couple of draws without firing open the air holes then leave it for a couple of minutes and vape.
