How's the throat hit on those tru-vapors and the Provapes @1.6Ω?

I'm trying the new e2 cartos but am not too happy so far with the throat hit. Will try them more out during the weekend.

I got 5 new Ego cartos Monday and 4 have already died. Not overjoyed with that though I do like the throat hit on them. My first 5 Ego cartos lasted about 20 days with great performance but not this time around.

If you're vaping medium to high nic the TH should be good on the Provapes - heat+nicotine=TH and there IS heat there, but not enough on the eGo to lose flavor (the one's I'm using anyway ).

Not good to hear one the eGo cartos although I've probably bought my last ones of those because the mega attys are so much more convenient and the carts hold the same amount of ejuice.

I tried one of the E2's - interesting. Got a metalic taste at first - that tapered off but not entirely but it didn't interfere with the DV 'Real Tabs' a rather strong flavor. Lasted me about an hour before I started to get a 'hot air' taste - not a burnt taste. I went past my normal 'loss of flavor' just to see what would happen. At 11mg and VG I purposefully avoid the TH. I'm good if I can feel it - unlike some flavors with the 801 :) where I can hardly detect the volume of vapor. Although the taste comes through.

I'm getting better th today maybe because I learned how to fill right with the needle. I pop the middle cap and use the needle in the reservoir. So far so good.

... Ross over at Vapors Etc....and yes...probably I am WAY slow...but I just noticed he has the 2.4 Tru KR8's! OMG...can it be...finally a decent KR8 ? (besides the Turbo carts of course)...anyway I got a box to give to the Mr...carto killer premier....we will see how he does with them. :)

Katya...total agreement for once! Riva/2.4 Tru 510 cartos...perfect!

I just saw these too! although I'll have to wait to friday to order some of my own... Really wanna try the 510's also...

After all, if Katya likes 'em... She's the one who got me hooked on the Turbos from V9! :)

For once? What do you mean? Don't we hold similar views on the Turbos, the SS cartos, the Hendu, borstch, herbs, men, animals, rosehips preserves and mead? ;)

Oh, I'm versatile :2cool:

Katya likes them a lot. But I wouldn't use them on a 3.7v device. Do you have an eGo? They are 2.4Ω, and knowing your talents...

Welcome back!!! I have hardly been here myself and am way behind, but this is where I am, if that helps at all :)

The Truman/Tue-Vapor cartos are fantastic, but I agree with Kat, with your record at 3.7 volts they may not be so good for you. They are a must if you have an Ego or Riva though!! They also do good on the WetBox, my Lazers and stock 510 batteries. I stick to the SLBs for the Chamy and Buzz still.

I'm on the fence about the E2s. I have not had any burning and I think people are confusing real burning with the harsh hit you get when the wick and coil dry out. I have dry burned these and there is no actual burning happening. The do give a nasty hit when they get dry though, which is even worse at 3.7 volts. Thinner juices wick faster and if you turn them upside down for a couple seconds between hits they function much better. At 3.7 volts they are too harsh for me, but fair better on my Lazers. On the WetBox since you can keep them extra wet they are wonderful, almost like dripping. All in all they still need work, but have potential. Personally I'm waiting a while before spending any more money on them. In a month or two if they sound like they have improved, I'll try them again.

Side note to the House Fans... I don't watch TV very often, I watch movies, but not TV, so I've never seen the show, but I have added the first season to my NetFlix and should have them next week so I can understand all the signature lines :p

Happy Vaping!!!

whoa...must have been a slow weekend here ! Your right Katya...we do agree on quite a few things. :)

good news....I tried those Tru KR8's....so far they are wonderful!!! Havn't bothered to check for burning yet...no need...although I gave one to the MR....who knows what IT looks like...but basicly they feel and perform just like a SS 4081...little harder draw due to difference in batteries of course. But what has me totally baffled is that I also got a sample of a Tru 4081...it is nothing like the rest of them...got the verticle wire in it????Havn't taken it apart yet to see if there is a wicking bundle....but I wonder why they did that? I hope they don't start doing that to the 510's and KR8's....

lori, i was told by trueman that the vertical wire 4081 carto was the newest design and i believe ww preferred it over the horizontal one. if you would like to see for yourself pm me your address;)

I have a few 510 batteries lying around... If these Truemans fit the bill, I'll definitely get a RIVA/eGo.

Glad to hear it! Are you using these on a standard KR battery (3.7)?

The new design. Is that on 4081s only or across the line? How about the 510s?

For real, that was verified? Last I remember, we weren't sure which one was the newest.

I'm bummed. The horizontal worked far better for me in terms of not burning. I've managed to burn every vertical. On the bright side, they hold a lot of juice.

i was the one doing the trueman co-op in pif which turned into a nightmare.
the 510s we ordered came assembled and i do not know how they were constructed, but i believe ww later took one apart and found a vertical design.
the 4081s came in pieces. i had to count out the mouth pieces and endcaps for hundreds of cartos and was therefore able to see in each carto, lol!
i had liked the horizontal design and questioned trueman why our order was mixed. that's when they told me vertical was the newest. i still prefer the horizontal but opinions were mixed.
hope that helps some;)
