dahahaha. let Mikey try it, he'll eat anything!

That one never made any sense to me. How would having somebody that would 'eat anything' give you any information about it? Well, unless they died immediately ;-)

Ok. I'll give it a try. If you don't see any posts from me for a while don't use them. :)

Katya:I was looking for this one, but got distracted. Absinthe...

Besk snaps, my dear Lord. Have you ever tried it?

No but.... Works fine as a flavor.

Worse than the worst Akwavit. The Swedes make it at home. Just pick some wormwood twigs and soak them in booze. Deadly. With cummin and/or caraway seeds.

You're more experienced there. I really like red wine but Absinthe is a nice variation. I don't drink much else - well... strong coffee, and now 'iced coffee'. Starbucks columbian and a homemade mix for flavoring. If you appreciate red wine - cabs mainly, you'd like my cellar.

My Gypsy past. I lived in Sweden for five very happy years. I still like my licorice flavored Swedish snus but I won't have herring for breakfast.:p

I'm sure I'd like your cellar. We don't have cellars in California. As long as you have some Merlots and Pinot Noirs in there. Too much tannin in the cabs, if you ask me.

Now, since you're posting, you're alive. So, how are those CE2 cartos? The suspense is killing me.

Lol. My favorite candy is Lakerol salty menthol licorice ;-)

No Merlots - might as well drink white ;-) A few Pinots ....though 95% cabs and bordeaux and some Super Tuscans from Italy.

Haven't tried them yet. Just came today (thanks WW). Have some things to handle before leaving ;-) Not in a rush really.

Lakerol candy tastes just like my snus. salt and licorice. I usually have one or the other in my mouth. Except that snus has the nic and all those beautiful MAO inhibitors. :D

Anything from Tuscany is fine. Their table wines are the best. Better than any pretentious, overpriced, full-of-itself French bordeaux nonsense.

Finally we disagree! How refreshing.

Hi Hi!!!

Whooooo hooooooo Jury Duty is over!! Unfortunately I am so far behind with work it will take until Sunday to get caught up, but I'm taking a quicky here anyway :)

Speaking of Quick ;)... Mr Quick Sir... I'm 60+ pages behind on the E2 thread but I have seen mention of glue. Can you give me a simple run down on that issue. None of the E2s I received have any glue in them. The inner caps all come out. I just use a crochet hook and get under the edge of the middle hole and pull straight up with no problems. Is the glue something new they are adding or is this on the earlier versions? I hope it's not new, if they are going to do that as a regular part of the cartos I won't get any more :(

I'm using one of the black E2s on my Ego and loving it!! I didn't use them during jury duty as I didn't want to take a needle tip bottle with me into court  So just used my SLBs and my Tru-Vapor cartos. The Tru-Vapor aka Trueman cartos are great on the Ego also!!!

Still haven't tried an E2 on the WetBox yet. Started with the SLBs and had the same one on there for days. Today I put on a Tru-Vapor carto and it's doing well also. No leaking, great draw, lots of vapor, even more than the SLB, but then again it's resistance is lower. Someone asked about the Tru-Vapor resistance... all mine have been between 2.4 - 2.6 ohms. These have become my favorite carto as they just keep going, are hard to burn and work on all my devices.

Tip of the day for the WetBox... The instructions do not say it but you should fill your carto before using it the first time. The squeeze the bottle once every few puffs. Twice a day I drip in 6-10 drops from the top just to make sure it's staying completely wet. This system has been working fantastically for me. No leaking, no carto ever drying out, no burning, no bad taste, just great vaping!! Just wish I could justify buying a second WetBox

Happy Vaping!!!

EDIT: Another tip, no pun intended ;) When I got the stainless E2s, my T-tips did not fit them so I ordered a couple of the plastic colored drip tips from Nhaler and got those today and weeeeee the DO fit both the stainless and the black E2s!!!

If you ever get in the area, stop by, ...you'll find we don't really disagree. I got lucky - Bordeaux futures that turned out to be a good year - didn't pay a 1/4 of what they're worth.

I have some of the same snus most likely. LD? Which is your favorite?

A crochet crook! It's brilliant. I was just thinking what to use to pry this ring out of my CE2 carto. Kent clearly has more imortant things to do, so I'm going to be brave. :p

WW, BRB with my crochet hook. Thank God for women. ;)

Crochet hooks are great for many things! I keep several in my pencil cup on my desk :) Did you get lost?

Got 'em today.. t.y!

You are quite welcome!! And I have you to thank for letting me know about the WetBox!! I hesitated for so long about getting one and now I wish I hadn't waited  I do love it!!

The purple drip tip from Nhaler matches my WetBox exactly!!!! I'm just thrilled they fit the E2s :)

Happy Vaping!!

60+ pages behind? lol, then you haven't gotten to the part where I think I teed everybody off . I think they thought I was accusing them of something I didn't... reading comprehension is dicey on the net .

Glue has been on and off on the inner cap. Seems like it wasn't there a long time ago and then a few said they experienced glue and for a while it was difficult for people to pry out the inner cap. Some had the cup come out with the cap.

Here is my guess. That inner cap has to seal the resevoir and the top of the cup. So that the juice stays in the resevoir when it's not upright and so the juice in the resevoir doesn't flood into the cup by running over the top lip. The juice should only enter the cup (with the coil in it) via the wick (and stay in/on the wick). So I'm guessing the mfg thought the cap should be glued in place. I think if they're removed and replaced they have a chance of getting loose or not sealing. No one has mentioned experiencing that and no one seems to be experiencing flooding either.

A few people recently have been experiencing a chemical taste/smell. Previously some mentioned that and it was attributed to the wick going dry or maybe the plastic cup (which deformed for someone). Some thought it might have been due to the soft upper cap. In all, it seems only a handful of people experienced a chemical taste.

Post #2161 over there has a picture of a glue job gone bad... So for whatever revision that was they were using glue and somebody had an accident (maybe they sneezed while applying the glue :)). Given the consistency of all the e-cig stuff made in China I have this vision of thousands people sitting there assembling these things by hand :(.

Now the report is they are addressing the glue issue. It sounds like they are planning on addressing it with better glue? Most people say their caps don't seem to be glued in at all so I don't know what to think about that.

Thanks for the summery Quick!!! I have not seen any glue so far and have been able to remove my caps, at least on the ones I've opened. Also no leaking after taking out the inner cap and putting it back in, but I do make sure to tap it down and make sure it is tightly seated too. I still have 9 unopened packs, no telling what I'll find in those

I do hope they are not going to glue the inner caps in. I think that would be bad. And your vision is probably spot on. Most things are done by hand there. Very little automated machinery is used. Hence the reason products are so low priced from China. Way under paid workers and no machines to keep up. It does keep things inconsistent though since humans are not near as precision as machines.

Thanks again for getting me up to speed :) Happy Vaping!!

I got a phone call from my daughter from Madrid. Some problems with her e-ticket, connection from JFK to LAX. She's just beginning the first leg of her long journey home. First trip to Europe without mom and dad so she's agitated and she's a teenager, bad combination.;)

I found my crochet hook but I think it's too big so I just used a syringe. The juice bubbled up on the top a bit, I cleaned that out and... after maybe 10 draws the thing was toast. WW, I don't know how you do all this, including jury duty. You are the most accomplished human being I know. How many different PVs can you juggle simultaneously? How do you keep it all straight?

60+ pages behind? lol, then you haven't gotten to the part where I think I teed everybody off .

Well, we don't really disagree, not yet, perhaps? I prefer Pete's coffee, though, but it's a Callifornia thing. Cabs are big wines, as in a rainy day in November with nice beef stew big. I like easy wines. Italian, Spanish; California wines are good but many are too boozy for my taste.

LD black? It can fell a medium size horse, can't it? Not even close, I snus like a girl; Fellini, Catch, Mocca. Mini white portions.

I have a quick question on the Ego cartos. I noticed a lot of posts lately around ECF of people filling by using the side holes as well as the middle. I didn't think the side holes had any filler though I may be wrong on the design. I fill right through the middle hole.

I use a nut pick to pry off carto covers. Works like a charm.

OK, all copied. Please double check them Katya to make sure I got the right ones.

Also, you might want to seriously consider changing the title of this thread. I think the 'Burning Cartomizers" is giving people the wrong impression of what this thread is about....and Bloog/Totem, etc are not brands people are familiar with, so I think they are bypassing reading here. :2c:

On another note, I'll be waiting for the eventual reviews on these. I think Scott ordered some.

Lu's right about the title. A few people have mentioned to me they didn't read anything here just becuase of the title.

Great job Lu as always.

Thanks Zelda. I wouldn't have looked here for any new info if someone didn't point it out to me. I would have thought it was a huge thread, probably by newbs asking about burning cartos, and that's not what I was looking for at all
