Vertical.

I ordered this one 1 month ago today. I vaped it intermittently for the first week. And more heavily as time progressed. By the 4th week, it was my primary vape. I wish I hadn't disassembled it.

Oh, and the GP 3Ω carto you sent me, works great! no "meh" here! though that's exactly how i'd describe the Bauway you sent me.
this GP carto tastes a little different than the 2.5's from VaporsEtc. can't put my finger on 'how' it's different. it just is. but equally enjoyable. great vapor! maybe only slightly less of a TH than the VE version. but only slightly. like on a scale of 1-10, the TH would be 1/2 a point less. maybe 3/4. :)

This is just too funny. They must be mislabeled! Which one has a red little wire inside, pray tell!

Thank you, dear.

So where's the new video? Do you still like them? I sooo want to try them.

I know that was directed to cozz... but I still like them, of course I have less track time on them (1 day) then cozz.

on a positive I have been working one single carto as hard as my lungs can take :p going outside my normal vape routine to see how they are..

I might get a premi-vid out just so you know I actually do have them :D

Hi kids! As you can tell, I'm the new kid in class. Love the carto concept but I am beginning to see that I am doing things completely wrong. I have a V4L 808 and am using a combination of the premium/WOW and cool carts. For some reason, I am actually preferring the premiums over the cool carts - I guess I like it a little warmer....makes me feel as if I am actually getting something out of them. In any case, back to doing things all wrong...I am vaping like mad. I mean, I chain vape a lot. I tend to keep the carto on until the flavor drops off and not top off. I put that used carto aside for a refill later in the week. Rinse, repeat. I'm finding much less taste on the refilled ones and an overall reduction in performance. I'm not necessarily opposed to topping off and keeping things nice and moist, but really...isn't that defeating the purpose of a carto's convenience?

I've been thinking of switching to a Re/go, or is it eVa, for more vapor production, and with the reviews of the new Genuine Joye cartos it may seem like something that might work out better for me. I'm hoping that this may be my ticket to a better vaping experience until the e2 consistency/quality is improved. Any other things you might recommend for my kr808 setup for the time being? Other cartos to try? Will 4081s work with my kr808?

Anyhoo - jus thought I would pop in and say hi at least. I've been following this thread for quite some time now and I like the looks of this crowd.

Hello, Chrizzle, and welcome. Yeah, we are a merry bunch.

I, and many others, started with V4L and then moved on to bigger and possibly better things. I've tried every kr808 carto on this planet and I still like the Turbos from VaporNine and the CoolCarts the best. Salt likes the kr8s from Good Prophets, they are new, I'm sure he'll tell you more about them. You need to top off, really. If you don't, they'll burn. Once they taste burnt, they are burnt. Trust me. We've ripped enough of them apart to know. The new Joyetech cartos and the E2 series also need to be refilled. Nature of the beast.

I think your plan to move up to the eGo/RiVa/Tornado class batteries is a good one. That's what I did and I'm happy. My Rivas last almost all day, my 900 mAh eGo lasts even longer, but I prefer the Rivas. I like their button better. They really produce more vapor than the kr808 batts, and the draw is much smoother and richer, despite the lower, 3.1v, effctive voltage. Plus, you'll have a wider selection of cartomizers and atomizers. I think you'll be happy. Just remember that those batteries tend to fail, usually early on, so buy from a reputable vendor who offers at least 14-day warranty, 30 is even better, if you can find it. You can find Rivas at Vapors Etc. Vapor Junction, East Mall and other places. If you want an eGo, try Cignot, Good Prophets, LiteCig, Janty; there are plenty of good suppliers.

As for the 4081s, the best cartos are still from SmokeStik, then Trueman and Good Prophets, and yes, you can use them on your V4L batteries with an adapter, look for a kr808/901>4081 adapter, but frankly, they are the best with SS batteries, IMO. You can find adapters at WordupEcig (free shipping) and Good Prophets for sure. Maybe MadVapes carries them also. SS is expensive, though. I use their batteries and cartos for driving and when I'm on the go, but my main vape is the Riva with moderate (2.5Ω) to higher (3.0Ω) cartomizers, like Tru-Vapor (recent QC issues notwithstanding), Boge, Good Prophets, Bauway (from Madvapes).

I'll let you know how these Joyetech cartos are WHEN MY PACKAGE GETS HERE!

Thanks Katya. You're swaying me to get that RiVa now. ;) Just don't seem to be as satisfied as when I first started.

he new Joyetech cartos and the E2 series also need to be refilled. Nature of the beast.

I get that they need to be refilled. Or by refilled, do you mean topped off regularly/not vaping them until they are nearly empty? I figured since there was no filler in the e2 that burning isn't an issue with those. Also the Joyetech's look to be somewhat burn resistant as well per what coz said here in reply to my question.

Based off what he said once the flavor and vapor taper off it is time to swap out. I just want to avoid having to bust out a syringe constantly to keep these things filled. I can manage doing that a couple times a week, but daily?

I have no idea how long they last between refills. My package is in Orlando, did I mention it? :glare:

LGD? Cozzicon? Anybody?

It's hard to say how long a GenJoye carto last, since YMMV always comes in to play.. Mine drain the juice quick, hours or less depending on what voltage I am using, but I am still putting them through the tests and I am working them HARD to see how they hold.

If I would have to give a statement that you could relate to, I would have to say they last as long as approx 1ml of juice would at the particular wattage in effect.

I say this because it does seem to be using most of the juice refill after refill ..so far ( this is not backed by a COMPLETE test mind ya ).

one advantage I have seen with these is they sure seem consistant you get the same flavor and vape up to the point of needing to refill.

I will add more in a new review thread (when I have darn time :( ) Right now I will just say they are worth a try, if you are curious to find out.

Thanks, LGD. You are using the larger ones, right? Appx. 1.7 ml? If so then these seem to eat up da juice, no?
