Now, that's better! :)

Rob at Good Prophets carries adapters for 99 cents and they are adjustable, i.e. one can adjust the airflow. They are really nice.
Good call. He has the most reasonable prices. I buy a lot of juices from him.

Now i know where to go for my auto diagnostics. :thumb:

I only use 510s. But if I get a good enough review from you guys, I will have to get an adapter.

Keep in mind though, that if you do that you'll be running them at 3.1 instead of 3.7 volts, and won't be getting the same experience as those of us vaping them native on 808s.... I think what I like so much about the bloogs is that their resistance (whatever that may turn out to be) seems excellently tuned to the voltage of an 808, so that they produce vapor that's hot, but not too hot. I suspect that if you run them at a lower voltage, some of what makes them special might be lost.

For those of you who may be eager for an update on the bloogs (I'm looking at you, nicnac ;) ) , I finally managed to vape one of them dry.... when it gets dry it develops funky flavor, but the thing is, the flavor it produces is "dry atty taste", not "burning sleeve taste" like most filler cartos do... in other words, just like a CE2.

This seems to strongly suggest to me that they're not burning. Just a layman's opinion of course.

Thats a bummer. Was it raining?
You guys are making me all excited about the Bloog. Do they come in 510s?

Yes... it was raining.

Hehe, so you like'em Bloog cartos? I do too. The problem is, I'm not quite ready to do a review because I have to retest the resistance. Leaford said they were standard (for kr808) 3.1-3.3Ω. I tested one quickly before trying it and it read 3.1Ω or so, so I left it alone. But when I was getting ready to actually write my review, I decided to test them properly. Guess what? They really are LR, at least by kr808 standards. I'm getting readings from 3.2 to as low as 2.5Ω, and if I subtract the 0.3Ω resistance of my leads, we're cooking here, boys and girls! [Leaford is gonna kill me, but these puppies are nowhere near the 3Ω+ resistance.]

I have to take my dog for a walk; it finally stopped raining and she really needs some exercise. I'll be back later with more.

Salt, how about calling AAA? I'm so sorry about your truck.

Nic, you haven't been paying attention. Do you have a kr8 battery? Or at least a 510>kr808 adapter? Let me know.

Yeah... I dont have AAA. I might look into it though. I am getting it towed and diagnosed for $85. Lets hope it's an easy repair... Or else there goes all my gambling money for RENO!

My bloog meters at 2.5/6. Just kinda teeters back and forth.

Also... thanks for everyones input on my truck. It is a 96 ford ranger, 4 cyl, 2.3l. Stick shift. I replaced spark plugs 3-4 months ago. alternator 1.5 yrs ago. When I try to start it, it just clicks one time, then nothing. I have no power (lights).
It would not jump start either. regardless, it is at the shop now.

3.7v mod here. So I should be good to go.

Interesting, sounds like a starter solenoid, usually if its a bad battery jumping should crank it over, or push starting should start it unless no ignition voltage.

Could be a very corroded battery terminal. but one would think jumping it would at least make it crank.

Did someone mention celebrities ????? hehe....Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! And you too Leaford :)

Hey you sexy Devil! Fancy seein' you around these parts!

...
About my truck... I never expected such a response... Thanks again. I really appreciate the concern.
Bad Battery cables. That was my hunch from the get go (starter was the 2nd, thx!)... Corroded all the way down. All in all, gonna set me back about 225 +tax, including the tow and diagnostic. sold my GGTS/AVS. That'll cover the damage.
