What store sells non rechargeable?

You can get 123A's anywhere. Wallmart->Bestbuy->Gas Station

I use them in all my high end flashlights. Batteryjunction.com has them cheep, fast shipping and great CS. While you are there, also checkout the flashlight eye candy, I recommend Fenix and Olight. If you have a camping store like REI or MSR near you, they carry them as well. The water purifier by MSR called The Miox use them.

Surefire also sells them, last time I checked it was about $1 a battery. In the store expect to pay $3+ per battery! I would watch out for the pow-power, now sold under the name Titanium (about 80 cents each) as I have found the voltage has really been inconstant with new unused batteries. My Miox is very picky about voltage being exact, and the Pow/Titanium 123A's really caused a lot of problems in the unit. Surefire 123A's are a little more expensive but initial voltage is very consistent and almost always exact. The pows have metered a bit higher then what they should be initially with a faster than usual drop off after the first 10 minutes of use.

Hope this helps.

Edit: I forgot to mention, be very cautious about where you get your rechargeable 123A's. Radio Shack has them but if you look they are only 750mAh! 123A's should be 1400mAh.

Exactly! You got it.

I am sorry, I did not mean to be a sarcastic jerk with that reply; it was a totally valid question. I have been up for well over 24 hours (did not sleep last night) and am going to town on this 36mg ejuice with my new Protege that just arrived today! Between the hangover from last night, the lack of sleep and this High MG ejuice, that has never done much for me in the past, till this new PV, I am a little out of it right now.

Actually, feel free to rip on me you are correct there IS a difference, being which I stated above. One is rechargeable, the other is not. Besides that difference, they are the same battery. Again, be careful as all batteries are not made equal, whether you are talking throwaway or rechargeable. I have seen CR's new that were -.2 through +.4 volts (off of what they should be, which is exactly 3 volts) and an amperage range of 680mAh-1700mAh. In most electronic devices 680mAh is nowhere near enough to be of any use. The voltage difference is less concerning as long as its + and not more than .4 past 3v you should be fine.

Just like most of the time when dealing with electricity, amperage is what you are most concerned about. Take a taser for example. 150k volts they say! Well, there is really nowhere near that amount passing through your body, but still if you look at the amps you will find its next to nothing and for good reason. Amps are what will kill you, not volts.

Didnt take it sarcastiically at all. We sound like were in the same boat no sleep last night for me either and been vaping on my new Prodigy V2 as well I got today. I dont think Ill be doing 36 MG on this Im hitting 25Mg and I think I need to lower it now. I was using 25 to 30 on the 3.7 somtimes a little more but wont be needed here and i dont think it will be glued to my mouth either. I love this thing and it is a quality device for sure.

Yeah Im using the Tenergy LiFePO4 750 Mah on this and ordered one extra set from Steve and the 6pack with charger from BatteryJunction so I think I got a good rotation Ill use 3 sets and keep 3 for backup. Thanks for the info though ive been reading alot about them and dont want to get sh%* ones and have problems.

"and an amperage range of 680mAh-1700mAh"
that measures how much capacity the batt has not how much load it can handle
most li-ion can handle 10c without problems , that means a 750mah batt can handle a load of 10 * 750ma or 7.5 amps
a non rechargable will have a capicity around 1200 (@2amps should last ~40min)
MOST recrargable 123's will be 750 (@2amps should last ~20min)

Its so funny you say that about lowering the MG with your ejuice, after last night vaping for many hours I had a huge headache and felt sick. I have never had this issue with my other PV's! I think the Protege just works so well that I am actually getting more nic then I usually do with my other pv's. I too am going to have to cut this stuff in half if i want to keep using it in the Protege.

BatteryJunction is a great site; I know you will be happy with them. They should get it out to you quickly too. A lot of times they throw in extra batteries, nothing special just a AA or AAA non rechargeable 4 pack or something, but that little extra is very nice of them.

Pila Rechargable:

Flashlight Reviews and LED Modifications

300P = 1400mAh
300S = 1000mAh
600P = 2200mAh
600S = 1500mAh

I can sit here all day and list sites selling good 123A that have a high mAh but you get the point. I understand that mAh relates to capacity, my original post was a little confusing, sorry about that, but the point is that if you have a lower mAh some devices will not work on that battery. If you doubt this google it and you will find several forums discussing the issue and several reviews that users have made on retail sites complaining the lower mAh batteries cause certain devices not to function. While I have a little bit of knowledge in electricity, I could not tell you why this is or the science behind it; I just know what other people have said regarding their experiences with the issue.
