So much to do about NoLox....and Galvanic Corrosion...BTW GC occurs whenever 2 dis-similar metals come into contact with each other...The severity depends on the atmospheric conditions encountered...Aluminum is notorious....Brass not so much... Then I was quoted as saying NoLox is a
thread lubricant and anti-seize....I'll stand by that....A very similar compound is aptly named Anti-Seize.....The Buzz comes with engine assembly lube in the
threads...That given all should be good....When I read I comprehend BTW...We chatted a bit on this last week when I told Bov just a dab of chap-stick would work...it will and she said she had plenty.......
All that cleared up so...The end caps are brass...it's a soft metal...the tubes are aluminum also a soft metal....GC shouldn't be a problem..<<READ...Using nothing at all on the
threads and maybe you'll never have a problem...<<READ Myself..I'm still riding on the assembly lube...If the threads get to feeling funky I'll hit it with either chap-stick or NoLox...either is fine in my book.
