currently talking about obamas press relief today and how it did not mean anything. not tobacco bill related.
burr stopped, and i did not understant the two minuets each to argue the subitute...
i have video now but no sound...this is crazy....he is talking about how obama is talking about increasing the debt of america...and they mute him when he starts going against the grain...wow
No conspiracy. It's just your connection. The audio hasn't dropped once on my feed.
When I watch our politicians 'debating' something on TV, all they are really doing is enjoying themselves playing a clever intellectual game of one-upmanship with words but it's all just a complete and utter waste of time and money because the decisions are already made and all the 'debating' in the world isn't going to change anything. I don't really know why they bother to spend their time talking about it.

Keep recording. Burr is on the floor talking about it right now. The way the Senate works, they won't talk about a single topic for a set period of time. They'll have several topics slated for a session and the Senators will talk about them when they have the floor. That means one guy might talk about taxes for a while, then one guy might talk about closing Gitmo, then one may say some stuff about tobacco legislation, then back to someone talking about taxes, then back to tobacco... lather, rinse, repeat.
I just got off the phone with both of my Senators' offices to urge them to vote for the Burr amendment-for whatever good it will do. I also sent both emails last night. Figure if I keep bugging them maybe they will at least think about it.
