I am thinking about purchasing and eVic and I am curious to see what the people who own them think about them. So I have a couple of questions to ask you.

1. Would you purchase it again?
2. About how long the battery last before needing a charge? ( I have to recharge my twist during the day to make it last)
3. What is the best delivery setup you use on it?
4. How's the durability of it?
5. What battery running?

Thanks ahead of time, and please keep the Provari "propaganda" to a minimum

So you're open to the idea of a little bit of ProVari propaganda as long as it is kep to a minimum? :D

I'm interested in seeing the answers to these questions too... Hopefully the title of the thread will keep the dogs from coming in... LoL

It seems to be inevitable on here, no matter what you are talking about. So I only ask to keep it to a min. Plus I figure some people who have one also have the other.

I have only had my evic since Friday, so 4 days or so, but here has been my experiances thus far:
1: Yes, i would purchase it again
2: my battery lasts almost 2 days between charges so far. I use an external trustfire charger with a spare battery instead of the built in charger. Had a 1100mah twist that would last me 1 day before.
3: so far my favorite delivery system is the evod bcc
4: feels pretty good, more durable than my ipad, but haven't dropped it yet.
5: using the stock samsung icr18650, plus a spare samsung icr18650.

1. Yes, very satisfied with my purchase thus far, it has been 1 week, and blows my ego-Twist out of the water (no comparison I know).
2. Did you have a 1000MA twist? Mine would barely make it through the day, but on my stock eVic battery (2600 Samsung 18650) I find myself around 40% after a full day.
3. Currently I prefer my Mini Vivi's, but currently building SS Mesh and Cotton wicks for AGA-t+'s
4. Can't comment since I have not owned it long, but no problems yet?
5. mentioned above

Puffcounter is 2700 after 1 week, what about you above^ ?

So for 400 hits per day between 7-8 watts, I use 60% battery. (1.8-2.8ohm coils)

I am thinking about purchasing and eVic and I am curious to see what the people who own them think about them. So I have a couple of questions to ask you.

1. Would you purchase it again?

Yes

2. About how long the battery last before needing a charge? ( I have to recharge my twist during the day to make it last)

A day or two I think when using it exclusively. I think closer to two depending on which battery and how much I vape that day. I haven't been a solo device guy for a while so hard to estimate

3. What is the best delivery setup you use on it?

I use a bit of everything Cobra, Nova, Evod, Boge (in a tank)...all works fine

4. How's the durability of it?

I threw it off my stairs three times on camera for science. Twice solo and once with a BCC, no issues. You could break it but it's not going to explode if you drop it or knock it over. I knock it over almost daily

5. What battery running?

The 2600mah ICR it comes with or Panasonic 2250mah CGR18650CH's. Sometimes an efest 18350 or AW 18350, though those obviously don't last as long

Thanks ahead of time, and please keep the Provari "propaganda" to a minimum

I have two provari's, I still like and use my evic as well.

1. Would you purchase it again?

No, I don't think so. See #4.

2. About how long the battery last before needing a charge? ( I have to recharge my twist during the day to make it last)

No idea. I use mine at work and always have a USB port nearby.

3. What is the best delivery setup you use on it?

The Penelope. Leakproof, performs amazingly well, and holds enough juice to get me through the day.

4. How's the durability of it?

In my experience, bad. My first eVic died after less than a month when the button stopped working. I got a replacement at cost from the vendor, but would never pay full retail again.

5. What battery running?

AW IMR 18350

1. Would you purchase it again?

Yeah, probably.

2. About how long the battery last before needing a charge?

Using an MVR VV script that starts at 5.0V, I've run it two full days before getting anywhere near 20%, which would be the absolute lowest I'd take the battery. The eVic will not shut off before getting into dangerous territory with the battery (so I've heard, I've never run it all the way out.)

Edit: This is using 2.0 DCT's and about 2.5-3mL of juice a day.

3. What is the best delivery setup you use on it?

I've used attys, clearos, and 2.0 DCT's on it. DCT's are the best IMHO, but also my fave anyway.

4. How's the durability of it?

My eVic has taken a couple tumbles without any noticeable damage. The hardest hit resulted in the battery being briefly disconnected (the spring compressed to the point where the battery came off the connector), but after a little bit of worry I turned the unit back on and it' s been good to go since.

5. What battery running?

I'm running the Pepto-colored ICR that came with it, but will be switching to an AW when the stock battery shows diminished capacity. I've had it for about a month now with no noticeable drop in usage. I've also run a 1600mAh IMR as a back-up.

Even though the capability is there to charge via USB, I usually end up throwing the battery in an external charger.

It's a good mod, and I've had fun tinkering with the MVR settings.

I think a better question for #1 would have been, "if it needs to be replaced in 3-6 months, would you buy another one?"

No I was pretty clear in what I was asking, however I dont think too many people have had one for 3-6 months yet either. It was more or less wither or not since you have had it for a while would it still have been the one you purchased. I think most who have answered the questions got what I was aiming for. But thanks. :D

1. Would you purchase it again?
No. I have not had any problems with it. But it feels cheaply made. Provari and Vamo are stronger more powerfull mods
2. About how long the battery last before needing a charge? ( I have to recharge my twist during the day to make it last)
I have not used the evic long enough to kill a batt.
3. What is the best delivery setup you use on it?
I use all of my mods with a vivi nova and aga-t
4. How's the durability of it?
Still works just feels like a drop could be the end of its evicing life
5. What battery running?
aw 18650 2000 mah

When you say it is not as strong are you referring to the Watt limit? or just in general? I am curious as to how much I would actually need to go over that limitation. I am also considering a VAMO also, just unsure. I really like all the features and stuff to mess with on the eVic.

Can you change all the setting with it in your hand or do you have to have it plugged in to change all the settings on it?

Thanks by the way for the honest answer

I don't have a horse in this race, so it was just idle curiosity on my part. The eVic comes in both aluminum and stainless, correct? I wonder if the material choice would influence the durability question at all.

Edit: Just for reference, I am a ProVari, Vamo, and eGo owner.

1. Would you purchase it again?
probably.. just starting to get used to it.. though not really liking the size/shape of it... going to get a box mod so it can travel with me.. evic works as advertised so no problem there
2. About how long the battery last before needing a charge?
since all this is fairly new to me, I find myself teetering on over vaping until I get some more comfort. With hitting it often It lasts me through the day and usb charge it over night
3. What is the best delivery setup you use on it?
just got an IB tank and really liking that set up -- ordered XL 19mm size and fits very nicely
4. How's the durability of it?
seems a bit on the flimsy/delicate side of life - but haven't had any major drops.. a few tip overs (again the size/shape isn't my fav but that isn't the evics fault) and no damage or issues from the tip overs
5. What battery running?
running the stock battery that came with it.

I would of guessed the first by the tone in your first post, however I dont think it comes in stainless ATM, but I could be wrong. I have boiled it down to the VAMO or this

It only cames in aluminum but you can buy steel tubes to put the control head on/in. Basically the aluminum is fine, I think breaking the plastic or pulling the head out would be the issue if you do break one.

I break lots of things, including quite a few egos but not this yet. I think I have had it for about two months.

It does not. As things stand now, the parts of the eVic prone to breakage are primarily plastic.
