I haven't read of smoking being a hobby or people building and buying various smokes.
Never heard of Cigar Afficionado?

Amoret, I've got several friends who have vaped longer than me still using Twists and VV3's. They say that's all they want and need.
dont forget the boiled crawfish... got to have boiled crawfish
Same here. Blows my mind that some would still be vaping a spinner with a carto after 2-3 years, but I have a few friends that have...
While I wouldn't tell a newbie to get an Atlantis, I would recommend a mod that's capable of running an Atlantis just in case. Considering there's not much of a price difference between the 20w and 30w mods, I would say go with 30w just in case you need it. Maybe even higher if the price is right.I started vaping before MVPs, glass clearos, and subohming. I started with a Blu because I didn't know other things existed, yet. Per this forum, I progressed to an Ego Twist, then a ProVari. For me, cigalikes and tobacco ejuice were not what I wanted, as I didn't need to be reminded of cigarettes.
However, I wouldn't tell a newbie to get a Sub Tank either. What I generally recommend is an iStick and a Nautilus.
There is absolutely no chance of that ever happening.Could we stop assuming that what we liked when we started vaping is what everyone else wants?
And if you ever visited a pipe or RYO cigarette board, you will see that people add flavoring and spirits to their tobacco blends and even mix tobaccos to create a new blendNever heard of Cigar Afficionado?

When I recommend something to a "new" vapor .. istick 30 is what I tell them .. I am lucky to have known so many smokers that I was able to sell most of my useless ego and protank3's and mini 3's and aspire tanks .. even sold my mvp 2.0 for exactly what I paid for it after using it 4-5 months .. but seriously .. istick 30w and a protank 3 is what I recommend .. and I even teach them how to rebuild their own coils .. gives them options to upgrade to subtanks without having to buy another battery .. eBay is where I buy everything!
I say give them the cheapest mech clone you can find, the cheapest dripper, some catch fire batteries, some 22g kanthal, and tell them good luck!
No need for a resistance checker. If it catches fire, you're doing it wrong.
or give them your old egos and protanks
I had a point but don't think you got it.It cost a whopping $23 bucks for 2 volt batteries a charger and 5 blank cartridges. The premium quality juice was 9.40/60ml (SHUDDER
)and it hits as close to a cigarette as I've seen. A fine hit. Plenty of vape and flavor. Thinkin about getting a couple myself for tobaccos. A lot of vapors think cigalikes cost as much or more than their "nice" hardware and their expensive "Premium" juice. But they spend as much on a 30ml bottle of juice as she has in 2 rigs. I chose Volt because I didn't want to buy prefilled cartridges of unknown juice. I had more confidence in the company I use. A subtank for her? you're jokin, right?

Why? It's nothing like a cigarette..........I don't know if anyone has recommended it yet, but all new vapers should get a Subtank/Atlantis IMMEDIATELY.
And that is something you almost NEVER see in the thousands of threads where people are throwing out all kinds of advice to newbies.I think the most important thing, which was mentioned earlier is to listen, or in our case, ask questions like what are you looking for.
This is the only thing I wish I had started with instead of my eGo, although I am glad I started with the eGo as I do still use it, but out of all of my stuff, I use my iStick 30w the most.
