Mike you ate the sandwich............. You look so much better or is that for tyger you devil?

Sandwiches, coffee and freshly-made DIY are just the tonic to cure what ails you. Plus, Hallowe'en was over.

As to your final thought, I'm sure Tyger has far better things to do than admire my smirking mug. Alphabetizing her pantry and catching up on CPAC reruns are a couple that immediately spring to mind. ;)

Oh dear, no! Admiring your mug clearly comes well before CPAC reruns on my list (like say, 437 pages before)..... and I'm not *quite* OCD enough to alphabetize my pantry..... juices however... lol.

I had a package refused by Health Canada in June, they sent me a letter stating that I needed a prescription to order e-juice with nicotine and gave me instructions on how to get my money back from the supplier. I contacted my supplier once they received it, they re-packaged it was at my door a week later. It too about five weeks but I eventually did get it.

Not likely. They don't seem to know how to be proactive. This term seems to have been reacting to one scandal after another.

They're all the same.

The bureaucrats figure they don't know what they're doing so they (the bureaucrats) do what they feel like doing. As a matter of fact when I was working for and agency of the Gov't of ON a deputy told me that it was their job to "protect the Minister again himself". As far as the political staff they like to play Galactic Overlord / Gate Keeper.

Not a dam thing to report. They haven't even got to finding in the pile of backlogs
 This was NOT the update I was hoping for. I can only imagine your current frustration level. When this thing finally shows up for you, I sincerely hope it's more than worth all the pain...

FFS... duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu *gasp* uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!!!!!

After my excitement of my shiny being sent I came into this thread so full of hope thinking..hoping.....

These people are like the knights who say ni... except they say nay!

I wonder if it would help if we all got the number and called.

"Hello? Yes, I heard that Project Guy's package is being held up and as a concerned citizen of the practices employed by customs, I was wondering what exactly was being done to rectify such a grievous and erroneous error. Without a quick resolution to something so simplistic as this, it causes me, as a proud Canadian citizen, to sincerely question the capability of an organization my hard earn tax dollars support"

Thanks Shades. I want Canada Customs to send it back to Provape. I have already told Provape I want them to repackage the ZAP labeled correctly as the "Component Part of an Electronic Cigarette" specifically "A Rebuildable Atomizer" not a "Pro Metal Flash Light" and send it right back to me. It will be a very interesting discussion if they hold it up a second time.

If it comes back as "A Rebuildable Atomizer" won't it get held up by the Atomic Energy Commission? Lol

What I find really odd about this (I've been lurking this thread for a while now) is that I get HealthCabin orders of $150-250 marked $10-20 "toy gift" all the time without any hastles from customs. Maybe I'm just lucky? Or maybe you're just unlucky? Randomly selected for inspection? You'd think a package from China would raise more eyebrows than one from the US...

I'm more curious how all these shops get imports; border control and business/import #s, customs forms and tax claims would make it seem impossible to do legitimately.

Customs can't hold or return the devices unless they are improperly labeled or claim to be medical devices - there's no law against the devices. Juice however is another thing while there is no specific law against only "an advisory".
