Not too much. I've snuck a drag or so now and then. But, I think there are still a lot of people who wouldn't approve, even if they understood what vaping was all about. So, I figure it's best to avoid any conflict. I've flown transcontinental and survived without ... I reckon I can handle 30 minutes in a store.
I was vaping in aisles with pride when I started. I still do, but now just hold the vapors in so nothing blows out my exhale.
Its illegal in my state, cause of the children. Though I could do it stealthy I'm able to wait.
LOL!!! I never used to, but lately I can't seem to help myself. A few weeks ago I walked around for hours inside a huge home center vaping away on my huge Provari with a tank no less, and since that day I vape everywhere. Not on trains or buses yet... don't hope I get so careless... So not only do I really stand out as large blond foreigner, I am that large blond VAPING foreigner!
The other day a policeman almost fell off his bicycle staring at me and my vaping aparatus hehe!!! I always walk the dog at night in the park with my earbuds in and audiobook going and vaping like crazy (yes Japan is super, super safe). I didn't see or hear the bicycle until he passed close to me and almost fell off right in my path. He righted himself and rode away, but because I had jumped with fright, I was expecting him to return and ask for my ID card... but he never came back.

Not on purpose. But I do find myself many times walking absent-mindedly into a store or building with my pv in hand and end up vaping by accident shortly after I enter. Oops.
I do intentionally pull it out during those "marathon" shopping sessions in a big box store when it seems you can't get out of there to save your life in under an hour. But that would be stealth vaping at those times.
In either events I have yet to be caught or whooshed out of a store for doing so.

I really couldn't care what people think.LOL I vape everywhere. In my college classes at work. I love to see peoples faces when an elevator door opens up while I'm exhaling a nice cloud of vapor stepping out of it. 
I've noticed many things since I started vaping - here's two in no particular order:
1. my "feigning" went from "jagged-super-pointy-OMGINEEEDACIGNOW" spikes to "gonna-get-around-to-it-eventually" gentle hills of craving. So I can usually hold off most times.
2. exhaling a plume of vapor in a movie theater is really NOT very stealthy when there's suddenly a lot of bright action scenes, lol (didn't get kicked out or anything though)

I vape just about everywhere too! especially while I am driving and caught in a jam, exhaling all the vapor with my car windows wind up, the car beside will give me the wtf?! stare.
The laundromat I use is down the street from me. Wasn't cold but was chilly (sweatshirt/hoodie weather). Just a bit after sunset my stuff was ready to come out of the dryer. I took a few drags on mine and the windshield and side window by me were all fogged up in the matter of under a minute.
Sorry you mentioned vaping in your car and just brought that to mind.
I think its somewhat to do with resentment from being a former smoker and being evicted from coffee shops, bars, pool halls and bowling alleys. Places where people traditionally smoked. I stealth vape to prevent any confusion or tension but I still hit on it when in stores or anyplace that historically I would have been able to light up. Grudge vaping??
I work at Walmart, and i always pull my carry case out halfway through the store to get ready to go outside and get my vape on.
Sometimes i forget and put it to my mouth and try and take a drag.. But i don't have it turned on.. so, so far i have been ok.
I'm sure my manager would kill me if i did it in the store.
I'm so used to vaping in the vaping stores by my apartment and other places who allow it.. i guess i am getting used to doing it indoors.
My manager always asks me what flavor i am vaping when shes outside smoking.

I took a couple puffs in a Walmart today. I had just bought a little Kr808 an hour before. Was with my brother who does the analogs and just couldn't resist showing him one of the advantages of vaping. Have to admit I was being a bit stealthy as I didn't want an unnecessary confrontation.
I Vape anywhere and openly, hell I just reckon if people cant see vaping in action they wont ask about it and get educated. Soooo I just go ahead and vape openly I dont do massive clouds of vapor well I try not too haha,, but i make enough so people notice and it has made my day if i get to educate just one more person on vaping..

I vape all day everyday everywhere I go...never been told to stop...have had to explain myself, but never been told to stop...now I try not to act like a junkie tryin to sneak a toke either...
I vape everywhere but somewhat carefully. That includes the dentist's office, the emergency room and my doctor's office. I'm pretty stealthy but if it comes up I'm happy to explain. Yes, I enjoy "getting away with it", especially after all the years of the shameful shuffle outside to smoke.
I vape anywere and everywere, well except my sons doctors office. Dont think they will like it but will be happy I quit. Was in getting some parts for my work trucks yesterday so I started vaping right at the front counter, I didnt even get a strange look from it and I live in a very strict smoking law state. Massachusetts
