DealExtreme is cheap, shipping is just very slow. I've ordered from them a few times and it took any where from 3-6 weeks to get my order delivered. Just something to be aware of.

Yeah I am expecting the shipping to take a while.. That is why I ordered a couple 14500's, 10440's, and my charger from madvapes. I don't want to wait forever.

Dealextreme.com has freeshipping on everything to anywhere pretty much at the moment. Worth the slightly longer wait.

Don't forget to keep Digi Key in mind when you start getting into advanced Playing... Luckily I'm in MN so I get parts from them in just a couple of days. My last order arrived in 2 days. You probably won't have that kind of luck.... =]

oh yeah forgot about them, thanks bstedh! Yeah am a real big noob when it comes to stuff like this. I am a little hesitant to start on a more complex mod just yet. I will be making a simple VV with the stuff from madvapes, not before I make a couple 3.7v mods though.

My project history consists of a PT and "The Puck" Both work really well but I can't settle with just those two. I like having choices!

I'm closer to Mouser (warehouse in Texas). They don't list USPS first class on their checkout pages, but if you select USPS priority and add a note to send it first class, they'll do it and charge accordingly. Only takes a couple days shipping for me.

Don't forget to check out Texas Instruments for components! I just received my free sample ptr08100wvd and ptr08060wvd from them today. They even give free FedEx shipping! Now, I've got to see if I can design something worthy of ordering 1000 or more... I'm sure that's what they're hoping for.

SIgh...... So yeah MadVapes came threw and delivered to Alaska very quickly!! However, my dumba$$ picked up a pack of N/C switches Got all of my first little mod wired up and went to check for continuity before plugging in my 14500.. Talk about a bonehead move!! oh well. now I dunno what to do... I don't wanna wait for RS to open 2mro

Yeah I just went to RS first thing this morning to get the switches. I did think about pilfering from my old Desktop, but it is still technically functional.. Don't wanna ruin it just yet.
