Canucks ordering from US Suppliers

So I was just wondering if anybody has ever been charged duty on their hardware orders from US suppliers.

I know there is the risk of customs seizing the order but aside from that, is there the added risk of having to pay more.

Thanks for the info, was looking for it! I'm about to order some e-liquids from Tasty Vapor myself.

TV ships perfectly.

It takes some time....allow for about 2-3 weeks from ordering to arrival, but it'll get there.

You can be charged additional taxes PST, GST and Handling charges based on the value of the contents.

The only time I was charged with anything was when I ordered empty bottles through US Plastics. Besides the extra charges, shipping was out of this world. They will never see my business again, that's for sure.

I had to pay an additional 38.00 when I got my kit from Electronic Cigarettes Inc. in Chigago. (Some of you might remember my feelings on THAT little fiasco!)

And, I was charged 56.00 duty when I received my GG Slim.

the duty for your GG slim wasnt from a vendor though domino...I think thats important to note.

I fondly remember when you first came to the forums....lol...you had the worst string of first timer luck.

When you order, ask the suppliers to mark the package with a lower value, say $40-50, and customs won't mess with it. They only seem to nab parcels marked as over $100.

Yep, this is true! Green Smoke did that for me when I wasted a month of my life on that crappy product.

I have been hit 3 times on various orders containing Juice and Hardware, once from the UK and Twice from the US.
