That is very true and I wish more people would realize if you start with poor cheap flavors you get bad mixes. Many want to save a buck by buying cheap inexpensive flavors and you waste more then what you saved. If you start with quality flavors you get quality results.

Capella flavors are good and easy to use. Also Hangsen for tobacco and Inawera for everything else. I've also been taking a liking to one stop DIY shop's house blends lately. The Chineese SC's are pretty good as well and a bargen at the price.

TFA are OK if you like fiddling with flavor but as you imply:) there so hard to get right.

I usually recommend Capellas for new mixers. Easier to get good juice because they are usually resistant to getting weird with over flavoring.

Back when I started, I found the Capella very easy to work with. The usage percentages are higher than most others which left more margin for error.

These days, I tend to prefer Flavour Art and Inawera but Capella still has a few mainstays that have a permanent spot in my rotation.
