Bah- I hate cart-boiling day.

I now just use a turkey baster with copious amounts of hot, then cool water.

I dry them with the turkey baster too.

Way less time consuming, and just as effective.

If you have one of those sprayer nozzles next to your sink, unscrew the handle from the hose and there's probably a nozzle underneath that's nearly the same size a a carto. Pen grip or cut out condom connects carto to nozzle, turn water on SLOWLY and just let it run through for a while. Careful, the pressure CAN and WILL fire a carto across the kitchen in a miniature fire hose of water if the pressure is too high or you lose your grip. LFMF.

I boiled mine sat... how do we make them dry faster? sunday night and I am still blowing water out of them... danke

Dry them in the oven at 175ish for 15-20 minutes. Works Great!

Blow the water out as soon as you are done boiling. Then, let them sit upside down overnight.

Really- the turkey baster dries them up in seconds. It fits perfectly inside the carto- just squeeze a blast of air into it two or three times and presto, dry cart.

That's what I do. Well, I blow them out after boiling and leave them sitting up like the picture overnight. Never had a problem. Always good to go next day.
