my male BS-o-meter just went off the charts.

As far as smoking, Belle, I'm not going to corrupt her into smoking! :D

(Although, she is already pretty smoking IMO. She was wearing 6-inch heels and still barely came up to my chin. RAWR :p )

I have yet to boil my cartos.. I just turn on the tap on the hottest setting and the labels seem to stay on just fine. I've probably cleaned the carto I'm vaping on right now at least 20 times and it's still vaping like brand new.

So how long do you let the water run through each carto to get it really clean?? Whats your technique? I have trouble getting all of the residual flavor out of mine when I run it through with my very hot tap water.
Thanks!

Well, I finally got around to it... I just BOILED a bunch of 'em. After running water thru and blowing them out. I boiled 'em for about five minutes and the kitchen smelled way strange. Then I ran 'em thru with water again and now I'm waiting for dry. Maybe I'll go dry one with a hairdryer just to see what's happening.

I mean, I have a zillion full carts and have no idea why I'm doing this except that I was cleaning house and it seemed like the thing to do.

Will keep you posted. I have a whole little bowl full of caps and rubber rings. Do I need to put the rubber rings back in?

A little steamy tho.. probably not quite dry? Well, there it goes, calming down now some...
Leaford, or any other experts, besides being silly obsessed tinkering fanatical fools, are we doing anything to these carts if we boil them? Or are you too silly and obsessed with that pretty girl to care at the moment? (Some people have dates, others sit around boiling and reassembling ecig cartos on a sattiday night...) :hubba::hubba::hubba:

Leaford ~ your new friend is Adorable, Cute, and she DOES look very sweet! Congratulations on your new romance:hubba:

I have never boiled my carts so this thread has been helpful to me. I have a bunch of used cart's sitting around so I think I will also give the boiling method a try now.

If anyone knows of any Youtube or other instructional videos and you can hook me up with the link ~ that would be much appreciated! I'm more of a learn by example than learn by reading kind of gal.

Ha ha ha...I'm such a nerd.

Here ~ everyone please have a laugh @ my expense (it's okay because I laugh at myself when I do stupid stuff and don't mind being laughed at)

So I removed the white end caps, along with the clear rubber ring (just to be safe) and I placed some carts in the pot of boiling water.

Being curious as to the "smells" that others described when boiling carts, I placed my nose above the pot to get a waft of the vapors.

"Ew" I said. "Stinky!" It had a very distinct BURNT smell. I decided to give it one more whiff. Yep, again...that very distinctive burnt smell. What the heck? Did I have a burnt out carto in there that was really giving off that much of a burnt smell?

"Hey, wait a minute" I said to myself ~ That smells like burning hair? It was then that I realized I had gotten not only my nose over the pot to inhale the vapors, but I had cinged the end of my hair on the flames under the pot. AH ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I swear I do the stupidest things some times
