cart question

Just ordered my xhaler and I want to be ready when it gets here. I only have 510 carts, will these work with the 801 or 901?

Also, are the 801 and 901s flat or round? If my 510's won't work, any suggestions on where I can order some cheap? I was going to go with rockymountainvapor because of the free shipping, but they are sold out of 901s.

901 and 510 mouth pieces work with each other

801 are flat

901 is either but you gotta look for rounds

I did not really think about it until now but since the kit comes with all three attys, I wonder if there will be a cart included with each or I guess one could just drip. I already have 510 and 801 carts and I ordered some 901 attys that should be here tomorrow.

If you don't have carts you can always "tailpipe" (no cart just lips to the metal) it can get hot but if you put the rubber grip from a pen/pencil it'll eliminate that issue. I do it with my 510 sometimes to get a nice warm full bodied hit, although I only get about 4-5 good hits from two drops of HV drewbacco

I ordered some extra batteries from batteryjunction.com that will probly be here before the xhaler, and if not I actually have 2x cr123 (non-rechargable) batteries I bought from Lowes to use for measuring the length of a mod I was attempting to build. Hopefully those will last long enough to let the others charge.

p.s. batteryjunction.com has a coupon code for 8% off, black09. I just used it so it still works, but do not know how long it'll work

Buttercrunch, thank you! I'm so glad you said something, I would have been disappointed Monday when it finally came. Sitting with freshly filled brand new carts watching out the window for the mail, and then WHAT? Batteries need charging.. 8-o NOOOO! lol I will pick up extra sets tomorrow (assuming I can get them at radioshack)

The only ones I saw on the radio shack website were the ones that are not rechargeable and they are kinda expensive.

Thanks hittman, I have the day off tomorrow, so I am going to go to an electronics supply store my dad recommended tomorrow. I figure if they don't have them, they can at least tell me who will. I don't mind paying a few $ extra, I don't want to risk them not getting here before my xhaler

BTW I got my much needed 510 carts (the ones I have are chewed all to hell) and some 801's from rmv, I feel like spongebob. I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready! lol

Wonderful, if you didn't already find them, I ordered some from amazon. It is a kit with a charger and six batteries. The kit is the same price as batteryjunction but the shipping was a few dollars less.

thanks, I'll be heading to lowes too. I don't want to wait a minute longer than I have to when that package comes I'll need spare parts, but at this point I'm confused about what I will need. I don't want to order the wrong thing and then have to send them back or buy the wrong thing and not be able to return it. I'll jut wait until I have two batteries I can take in and say "I need two of these please"

If there's a Batteries Plus near anyone, I'd check there first for rechargeable cr123s.

I don't know, I've never seen Li-ion rechargeables in any of the Batteries Plus I have been in. Mostly in the DFW and Austin, Texas area stores. Doesn't mean they don't exist, just haven't seen them.
