Carto tanks are good for those times when you need a long lasting juice source. I like a carto tank if I'm on a long car trip (to the beach) and don't want to deal with pulling over to top off a carto. Most other times, I just keep a carto filled and carry a full 3ml sample bottle in my pocket for top offs.

The Smoketech DCT dual coil tank is a good inexpensive tank to try if you don't want to spend a lot of money. It has a plastic tube tank, but it provides clouds of vapor and really good flavor for $12.99. A tank is also good in that it keeps the carto saturated all the way to the bottom of the tank. One or two dry hits on a carto will bake juice onto the coil and filler, ruining it for future use. The tank does a good job of keeping that area from burning. You can see when it is getting low and fill it before dry hits occur. The tank carto can last a month if you are prudent in topping it off before it's empty.

Once you have your carto tank setup, it's one of the best vapes you'll experience. But for ME, I find it a hassle compared to all my other setups laying around & in turn I find myself rarely using the carto tank setup. You need little tools & gizmos to make it convenient, it can be messy, you can't really be careless with them like you can other attachments. But for sitting at home they're nice. Idk, try a cheap one, see how it works for you, if you like it then go from there.

I like a good carto tank, they just aren't as good as dripping is all.

In reality the Novas and Stardusts would have never gained as much of the market share had it not been for "Bogegate". The fact that we went all summer without being able to get good cartos is why so many made the switch to the clearos.

Yeah that's why I switched. Are the boges back to normal now?

Mount Baker Vapor has the SmokTech DCT Tank for only $9.99. It comes with a single-hole punched 2.0 ohm flanged cartomizer, the tank itself, and a plastic drip tip. It's where I got my very first one. Now I have five of them, and tons of spare flanged hole-punched cartos. They're all I use now. I retired my VVN and my Stardust clearos. They're so good, I rarely drip now unless I'm tasting new flavors.

Edit: they are 1.5 ohms, not 2.0 ohms. Sorry.

I have several different clearos. And some rba's along with ref dripping attys. I haven't used a carto since I was using my blu. Would it be worth picking up a pack of cartos and a tank. I don't really need them but wanted to see other people's opinion and if so are there any really good Black Friday deal for tanks.

Just now I decided to try my favorite juice in a nova. I have been vaping the juice for days in a carto tank. I filled the nova, let it sit for a few minutes. With the two siting side by side trying each, there is no denying which has the best flavor. Its so bland in the nova.
This is using my Phiniac tank and IKV 510 MEGA Platinum STD Punch carto's.

I bought into the whole nova/ stardust craze like everyone else. I have some juices that taste fine in the nova's to be honest but some are just way way better in a carto tank.
