cartos vs carts - vapor production difference

i got some empty cartos from a PIF, filled em, and vaped em to death. filled the tips i have with the same juice and...serious vapor loss. i mean, like almost no vapor production with the carts and attys. am i filling these wrong or are cartos just overall better at vapor production?

that doesn't make sense, you say you filled some empty cartos from PIF and got serious vapor loss, but then say are cartos just better at vapor production? or am I reading it wrong?

Perhaps different resistance. The atty may have a higher resistance (more ohms) than the cartos. Higher resistance = less current for a given voltage = less heating = less vapor/ht.

i have no idea the model #s, brands or anything. all i know is when using atties and carts, the flavor and vapor production is way down compared to using cartos filled with the same juice.

I'll take a shot at it then.
You atomizer/s are either dirty or failing. Remove it rinse it in hot until the water streams through it form top to bottom. Blow it out using your mouth. Re-attach it, activate the device while blowing across the top, 2-3 seconds at a time, no more than 10 seconds max. It will dry out quickly. Drip it and try it.

There are at least three makes/models of 510 cartos: Boge (silver threads), SLB (brass threads), and the new Joye cartos (these require a bit more tinkering to fill). And there are several makes of atties, too. Resistance is not the same across different makes, meaning that some will produce more and warmer vapor than others. Also, what kind of filler are you using in the cartridges? If it is the stock polyfill, it does not wick well, and produces less vapor/flavor/th than a modified filler, such as blue foam (Marineland) or fluval, or ptb, or Highping, or....
There's no simple answer as to why you are getting better vapor from a carto than from an atty/cart. More info on the makes, filler, etc., might get us closer to an answer. I get much better vapor, most of the time, from an atty/cart than from a carto of any make.
