Tom, perhaps I missed it - have any of the Stumpys been shipped?

If so, and they happened to ship yesterday, I may actual come to work tomorrow if for no other reason than to retrieve the Stumpy from the mail room. If not, I'll probably not be feeling well enough to come to work tomorrow. ;)

RuDawg you would like where I live. 45 minutes from the ski area at Mt Baker and 2 hours south of Whistler BC! Snowboarders paradise. To bad we are having a drought and I do not ski or snowboard. Yes a drought in the PNW. I did not know such a thing was possible.

I'm really starting to get tired of it all. 6+ inches in two days so far is too much. And it's still getting into the 90 degree range with as high a humidity as you can get.
I feel bad for you guys in Texas. First there was an excess of nothing and now there's an excess of too much. No happy medium lately.

Might be in your neck of the woods this coming winter then!!

Yes, yes I would! I've considered moving West for that very reason, but both my daughter's are in college on the East Coast though.

Crazy, right? We had the driest May on record and June's been no slouch, either. The grass in my hood is all brown, which doesn't happen until mid Aug, usually. Water restrictions in place with more coming - the snow pack was very light this year. Bears are out in numbers because their mid-summer berry food sources are getting low.

This and the Texas rain are signs of the apocalypse, I tell ya.

Hi all just jumping back to batteries topic as I know many managed to grab another run of samsung 25r's, something interesting as here i UK we are seeing a new batch of samsung 25r's in a green sleeve, similar to the look of the Sony vtc5, they are from legit sources who confirm around a month ago samsung changed their 25's to green in colour. Reading into this further a few sites confirmed that ref the sonys a lot of the fakes were actually samsung 25's but rebranded, only mention this as wonder with the batch of sonys that recent appeared could well have been the new samsungs. Not sure when next to each other how close the green sleeves are but going to order some and check them against some of my old sonts

Got the Atty3 in today. It is very well made and easy to build on. I have it at .3 ohms in dual coil setup. The thing vapes great. Flavor is pretty good and clouds are great. I am running the bottom air slots wide open and the top ones shut off. I don't like a tight draw, but I closed it down to pin holes and unlike the Hellboy, you can get an extremely tight draw on this one. This is a great little atomizer. I'm thrilled with this one.

Looks very nice on a REO. I can adjust the draw as tight as I want and the flavor is excellent. This Atty3 is such a good match for my SL black REO, I think I'll leave it on permanently.

Is rayon better in the Vector because this atty just doesn't seem to like koh gen do.

I've only used rayon in my Vector so far, and it's been great. Why do you say it doesn't like KGD?
To me, flavor and vapor are nearly the same for KGD vs. Rayon. The biggest difference I see with Rayon is that it stays clean longer, and coils don't gunk as quickly.

I bought and received my Vector from Tom in the first run. Thanks Tom. Modding any 510 pin is not a pretty business and Tom's modding of the pin to squonk was the same as all of the pins I have modded. The more squonk you want the more material needs to come off the pin. A whole Voltage Drop discussion can ensue from that but I am not going to engage. The Vector comes with a brass like pin so Tom adds the modded SS pin into his package which is nice plus putting a dremel cutting disk on a brass like pin is a tricky affair. It likes to "melt" it.

Anyway, with all of the flavor discussion around the Vector the primo build for me for flavor is using TWENTY TWO GAUGE WIRE. Anything higher did not create the flavor I was looking for. I did a 7/6 on a 2mmID and it ohms out LOW so if you are a battery safety freak probably not the build for you. It ohms out at .1 or a tad higher. My coils are mounted as close to the top cap air holes as possible centered between the four holes.

Anyway, the atty is insane for flavor and the clouds billow using FOOJOO and Majesty from Crescent Clouds or any high VG joose. I love the fact that it is basically leak free. The squonk holes Tom drilled on the cp are perfectly sized for draining.

Try 22g wire and your experience may change significantly. Thanks for the great Atty, Tom.

. All I use is unflavored and no matter how much wick of koh gen do I've used it just doesn't seem right but it could be that I need to change my draw completely because I'm so used to the Odin and nuppin. I can't figure out the problem. My coils are 27 gauge 7 wraps.

I've not had an Odin before, but I have had a Nuppin'. You won't get the same vape from a Vector. Maybe if you dial the AFC on the Vector all the way down, it might feel close to the Nuppin'. For me, a Nuppin' wide open was too tight of a draw, and comparable to less than two Vector holes, maybe half a hole on each side. Even so, you're talking small chamber vs. large chamber.
You could try less wraps too. I run 6 wraps of 26ga @ 2mm.
