Can't deny any of those points because they are true but I will say it has come in handy and for $70 not a bad emergency mod. Btw no one will laugh at you after what I'm about to admit to.....that cheap atty that comes with it has become one of my favorite...so much so I traded A RM2 for an extra.:facepalm::blush::facepalm::blush::facepalm:

OK, I found my Geyscano atty. For grins, I decided to build it with the wick & wire from their "parts & goodies" bag (found that, too). Did 6.5 wraps spaced, 1.4 ohm, silica wick. Squonking Nicoticket ABR @ 12 watts (gunked the coil up a bit playing with wattage, but oh well):

I can see how someone could enjoy this. Airflow is really smooth and right on the coil. Easy to over-squonk, but the vent gives you plenty of warning before it leaks. Build deck is meh. Flavor is pretty decent, and I haven't even tried playing with a better build.

Kinda makes me look at my vaping habits in a little different light. Don't get me wrong - I love my Vector and my Velocity and my Twisted Messes and ... But maybe I need to consider finding a nice little dual coil 19mm atty so I can do some contemplative superohm "tootle puffing" (whatever the hell that is) now and then.

unsure: If you're interested, message me your address and I'll clean this puppy up in the ultrasonic and drop it in the mail to you. And thanks for making me think. Even if it is Saturday and I shouldn't have to.:thumb:

Lately I've found myself wondering if I could learn to enjoy a nice simple single coil around .9-1.2 ohms again. The days when, at most, I went through 6ml of juice. I may try it out in the Manta when I get one, just to see if it's feasible...

Alas, unlikely - I am a subohm, lung hitting freak of a Sloth. Just like I was a roll-your-own, large ID lots of baccy cigarette lung hitting freak of a Sloth back in the day.

Yet I also enjoyed a good pipe session...I should try to find a nice MTL setup and see if I can't find a place for it in my rotation.

I hear ya sloth... I was the same way; clouds with flavor. I committed 24hrs to the Nectar and now I'm a flavor junky apparently. I haven't used anything but the Nectar in the last few days.

I did just receive my temco order which included a 250 of 24awg a-1. That will be used in the Velocity perched atop the Cam-M Prototype to see what the Cam-M can take and what it can't. My previous statement of keeping it above .25 ohms was incorrect I had shorted the 510 pin of the mod to the shell of the 510; direct short and held it for 10 seconds and both the 25r's and the mod survived. The batteries got so hot the shrink wrap shrunk again to expose 1/4" of the battery at the bottom. IMO that's a testament to the durability of both the mod and the 25r.

Sloth.... brother.... Diy eLiquid..... There are some awesome recipes that members work on and tweek then post for opinions and feedback...... Do a Google search for whatever you currently vape and..... put nicoticket (virus?) clone- recipe in the search..... You'd be surprised I've found and came up with a few that I really enjoy...... Then you can sub ohm 24/7 for pennies . Be warned, if you start.... Its addictive..... But fun!

I buy most of my juice wholesale or on Facebook lists. I pay $50 or less for 120ml premium. I just lack the time and patience for making juice. But paying $27 for a 30ml is bananas.

Diy does take some time and effort to get good results, but once I found recipes I liked and started measuring by weight instead of volume it's a no brainer. Its just pennies per ml, and I can whip up it up in no time. Just last month I made up over a liter of juice, six different recipes, in about an hour including cleanup.

Agree I've been making own juice using weight so much easier and as stated the cost per ml is next to nothing.

DIY is sensible if you have an ADV to make. I make 600ml at a time and it's a 20 minute process once every 8 weeks.

But until you have found something you can tolerate all day - it's better, perhaps, to just keep trying new liquids until you do.

Especially if cost is not a hurdle.

Do you use a very sensitive and expensive scale? How or what do you use ..... How does it take you longer measuring by volume? Never even looked into it..... Also how does that work for 5ml test batches..... 4 or 5 flavor juices would equate to miniscule amounts by weight? No?

Weight easier.
Haven't tried that but a quick look at it doesn't look easier.
I do that 100 drop test to see if a mix is good then if so make a full batch where each drop is 1ml as I make 100ml at a time.
