Dropping an update to anyone who's interested.

For the manta lovers, you'll probably realize that the orings make the top cap way too tight. Grab the 1mm thickness, 19mm inner diameter orings from theoringstore. I have the double orings in now and it fits PERFECTLY. No more struggles with getting the cap on or off, and no ripping of orings.

For the thump, these babies don't come with spare orings. You can get the 1mm thickness, 18mm inner diameter orings from the same place. Fits perfectly as well

Hey chowder,

I took myself off the manta list because of some financial issues. Long story short my bank account was breached but the bank confirmed it and reimbursed me. I ordered some checks today but wont be in until next week. Do I still have a chance at an awesome CAM hybrid manta?
I just paid for them yesterday, you should be good. And even if they come in and you aren't ready just let me know that you want it and that you are working on it and I will hold it/them for you. If you are in communication with me I have no issue holding. It's when people just dissapear; I assume that they are no longer interested.

I will miss her...... That was my first E8.

Where did you get the Damascus Door? I wonder if that is one of the ones that I milled the Damascus for. Stabilized customs?

The Hastur, FSM, the Atty3, the Marquis clone, and the Rogue clone are all $22.50 until they are gone. The hellboy clones are $10 each but I'm not bottom feeding them.

Let's get these baby's out of here....

*********The Blueprints for the Cam-R are finished and ready to be built from; I just need the down payment for the machine shop and we can get moving. This run and part of the Manta run will be funding the first drop to the shop.

Harry (Element mods)(Stumpy) did an awesome job on the prints, he mentioned that the Cam-R was the most intricate thing he has done to date. There must be 1000 different dimensions in my 2.5" core and faceplate. The cnc guy has his work cut out for him.*******

Here's a sample of the not very intricate back side:

More porn for all you 7068 junkies out there:

https://www.atimetals.com/Documents/ati_6-4_tds_en_v1.pdf

15% stronger than 7075 and about 75% as strong as Ti-6Al-4V. Impressive, to be sure.
I'm told that Ti might be a possibility but the cost will be astronomical. Who's ready for a Ti dna200 milled bottom feeder for $1000? Now that's high end.....

I might do one or 2 and do a raffle and donate it all to Wounded Warrior. I want one but good grief!

Awesome idea. And the charity idea top notch brother. But my understanding of Wounded Warrior is that it is a pretty shady deal with HUGE salaries for the founders. I don't often - actually never post on my opinions on stuff like this but what I have read about that particular charity makes me feel like speaking out.

Here is one of the many articles (they are not hard to find):

Again mad props for your willingness to help people Tom.

Canada? lol, but seriously there is a need for knowledgeable squonkers in Boston. I have yet to physically meet or even see anyone who squonks. Is that crazy? Anyway, thanks to ECF,there's access to the most experienced, knowledgeable vapers out there. :thumb:
Nickel,
Not in Boston, but 45 min north in NH. Every vape shop up here looks at my squonkers like they were teleported into my hands from an extra-terrestrial land.

They just dont get it!

Charity and Capitalism have a hard time existing together. I would imagine most of the bigger charities have the same issue. It hard to lure 6 and 7 figure talent to run these huge companies. It comes down to entitlement issues. If Bob make 5 million a year to run the company who signs his paycheck? And up from there. Most of the smaller charities and non-profits are run by people that make very little as it should be. It should be out of care not out of profit but when the charity becomes a company egos and greed begin to get in the way.
