Only regarding Nut Milk...
:D
I've gone totally wild on that front. I bring myself to a state of dry heaval daily due to over consumption of various nut milk concoctions, mostly slothuccinos and chocolate shakes...

Got my Stumpy in today, thanks Tom :thumb:

The AFC ring is stuck inside the top cap...before I go all Sloth and try to yank it out, anyone have suggestions for loosening it by chance?

mine has been a btich to get out from day 1...both stumpys are from the first run.ended up to make the cap easier to take off i took the top oring off so i could get cap off,the afc is another stroy though.i havent went on an oring search yet.to tight is always better then too loose!..lol.

I find using more cotton helps with spitback in my builds than less but I'm going to give the Peng Twisted, offset method a try, that looks awesome. Common sense rearing it's ugly head once more, nice work!

I also have Ni200 & Ti wire I've yet to do a build with as well but I'm just so damn satisfied with my current builds I never bother. But, in the spirit of experimentation I will give it a go at some point. Thanks for all the idea's guy's & girl's!

BTW: All of the NarDas shipped today except nat gas, yepster, and Kentastic's pile of goodies. All are scheduled for Tuesday but I would bet most arrive Monday.
Hate to burst your bubble but they won't arrive Mon:(

@distortoblotto Wowza that's a nice build, very nicely done.

Thanks FW...This very same set-up kicks some major aarse when built with a twisted 26g 3mm Kanthal 6/5 wrap to 0.4 and the coil centered to the intakes as well...;)

Thanks Penguiness for the perfect photo! I'll give that a try tonight on the O16, while I await the first Stumpy. :D

That is another one that does well with a spaced, angled coil. I chain vape for a few minutes, with long breaks in between. The O16 was heating up too hot with a contact coil for my preference. Melted the o-ring on my drip tip. I went back to spaced and it seems very happy that way :)

Distorto, great idea on using a vertical, that is doable for my skill-level.

IMO, contact coils are great if your making them with high gauge wire and an inner diameter no larger than ~2mm and 0.7 ohms or higher...

I angled it a bit more for this picture. I don't vape it with the coil this close to the posts.

That was exactly my first and only build for my Stumpy, seemed natural to me and it worked great.

Meh, I'm completely underwhelmed with this build in TC. Even threw it on my SMY 60TC mini to verify it's not a DNA40 thing. I guess I've been vaping K1 too long. I've got some Ti I can try with a contact coil if I get inspired later.

Just an observation, but it looks to me as if the coil is riding too low in the well. The trick is to get plenty of air " under" the coil as well. When the coil is too low ( especially in TC ) the air flow has a tendency to skim over the top of the coil causing bland performance. Another thing I would do is to get that wicking pushed out to the ends leaving bare deck showing directly under the coil.
