Sheez what have I missed...O.O'

Vectors should be here in a couple hours...!!!!!!!

Let's see if I can finally find a top air atty that rivals my side air atty since, you know, anybody still using side air is obviously out of touch with reality and all :)

Recommendation, please :)

I tried and failed, repeatedly, to do a Ni200 build in a Manta. Two 12 wrap coils don't fit. At least not for me (but I'm not a terribly experienced LB). Guess I'm gonna need something that produces great flavor (with decent air) that's single coil. Hoping the EM Stubby will work... Suggestions?

LittleBird, did you try building a duel in the Manta? This is a V2, correct? What size wire did you use? What was the diameter of the coil? I just got my Manta, but thought that is would be great for TC. But I'm waiting on my TMod TC mod before I try since it is bottom feed.

Just to clear this up as I'm sure it's very confusing from the outside looking in:
WharfRAT ordered a Manta authentic and evidently I didn't notice the posts that missed the final pass of the drill. I have contacted JD Tech to this regard (Thursday morning) and JDTech is owning the issue. They will be sending me a replacement with my next order. I explained this and send a print screen of the message that I sent as well as the return from JDTech to WharfRAT. My initial plan was to correct the abnormalities on the pictured atty and send it back, then once the replacement arrived convert that one and send it to him as well at no charge. That was acceptable to him, an hour or so later he decided that he just wanted his money back instead and that he was sending the Manta back. I said ok just wanting this issue to go away. (Normally I would require my product back in my hand before processing a refund) and refunded both payments or so I thought. Evidently I didn't take the final step on the final payment (each refund is a 4 step procedure). I went to dinner with my family came home checked all of my emails, messages, pm's and Facebook messages and responded to all of them and passed out. I woke up to 18 emails and the mess you see here as well as a PayPal dispute (my first in over 2,000 transactions). I tried to refund the second payment again but couldn't due to,it being held up by PayPal's dispute process. I have since figured out, WharfRAT now has every penny he is entitled to and has been given the formal "Good Bye".

Sheesh... glad I went to bed when I did.

Nothing like burning the bridge to the world's preeminent BF atty modder/supplier. You can't please everyone, not matter how hard you try. And, I know you try hard Tom.

Don't worry, sloth. Reality is WAY over-rated.

Still lovin' my side air Velocity.

Yes, dual coil. I was using the red Kuro Koiler - 2.5mm, 26ga wire. (And I HATE Ni200. That stuff is a PITA!). Authentic Manta2. Love that atty. Love it.

TC doesn't work when you use contact coils. They have to be spaced coils. If they are contact coils, the chip misreads the resistance and gives you bad temp readings.

I built my Vector last night. This thing is super easy to build on. I'm pretty sure I could fit some wire coat-hanger in the post holes, and still have room!!
6 wraps of 26ga on 2.0mm coil master, duals netting .41 ohms. I have some playing to do with it, but a decent start. Good flavor & vapor, but it's not 'hitting' as hard as I expected. I ditched the screen, like the vape a lot better without it.

If others could post some pics of coil placement & coil height, I would appreciate it!! Also, how are you guys positioning the air channels over your coils? I tried several different ways, landed with two channels directly over the coils, and the afc open to 1.75 holes on each side.

I posted a picture of my first build a couple pages back. 7/8 wraps of 26g on the coil master 2mm mandril. About .45 ohms. Height wise, I measured the inside of the cap, and then set the height of the coils so that they were close to the air holes, but with enough clearance. I set the tops of the coils at exactly 10mm from the bottom of the base. I put the air holes directly over the coils.

Hummm. But a spaced coil takes up even more room! Must just be me; I can't figure out how I'm supposed to fit two LR/NR coils in there :)

Thanks Rule! I did see your pics, thanks for the details, exactly what I was looking for.
Are you running it wide open?

In regards to availibility:
Currently I have a mountain of attys.
In the last 24 hours I have received:
Authentics:
50 Derringer
50 Vectors
50 atty3's
20 Freakshow minis (black)
The 50 Element Stubbys were shipped yesterday I hope to have them Saturday or Monday.
And a few clones that I was out of stock on. Marquis, Rogues etc.
I will be converting these today and Saturday.

I still have a few Authentic Rogues available, 10+ Hornets(14mm) available ready to ship.
I would like a derringer weather its available or a wait list what is the cost as I would like to pay for 1 asap.

What about just doing a single coil in the Manta? Do you have any thinner wire? I haven't tried duel coils yet with TC, just single. For duel coils, I would think you need wire like 30g or even 32g. When I get my mod, I will be running a single coil in the Manta.
