After losing a DNA12, and two DNA30 chips on two different regulated Squonkers, I'll pass on dna's... the sxj is intriguing but I'd hate to lose a fourth to frying chips.
I have friends that love to fix them. I can do it but it takes me forever. But when it's done the wires are all squared off and straight.

It doesn't matter what atty or mod you use, as long as you're loving' life and you're not suckin' on the old cancer sticks.

Thanks to Tom, both of these bad boys should soon be in my squonking arsenal.:thumb:

I twisted all three strands together. When I twisted two 28g Kanthal, I kept the drill turning until the wires snapped. The twisted wire was very springy and hard, brittle too. This time I didn't twist super tight and I think that helped.

Buy yourself a butane torch and anneal the wire after straightening it. Makes all the difference in the world.

I had an sx350 svap but not TP and sold it.i am gonna give this sunbox a run and see what I think of the TP thing.i too just seemj to dig mechs.if the sunbox don't do it for me I will prolly ride the mech train a lot longer.to each their own, vape happy!

When you receive the E7, if you want any help setting it up feel free to PM me here or the other place. The battery always goes in top up. DNA boards are not forgiving on incorrect battery placement. I can walk you through setting up temp control, locking watt settings and all.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
A big part of me feels sorry for big R but at the same time it seems very much self inflicted. All of us are a few bad decisions away from Ruin. I was a bit upset when he began modding the same attys I was at the time but I didn't realize then it was a Hail Mary to save jobs and Reomods as we know it. IMO it would behoove him to redesign the Reo to keep up before the Reo actually becomes a cliche. If he would ever reach out I would help any way I can.
Drop one of your chipped computerized units in the toilet bud give it a good wash and see how it works  I can guarantee you the unit your questioning works just fine after such an adventure  Hell one of mine even got ran over and spat out by a car sending it flying 50 plus feet into the ditch after I found it I put her to my lips and vaped away sometimes a simple workhorse is better than a newfangled computerized light up phalic looking device any day

Off topic a bit , Russ, but where do you get your unflavored juices? Do you just mix your PG/VG ratio to your liking and are good to go? Of all of the juices I have tried, maybe a couple I have liked. I want to give unflavored a shot and see if that takes the "which flavor do I want?" factor out of the mix and just use it exclusively. Also, and this may sound stupid, but does the unflavored have a combined flavor from the PG/VG at all or is it just a pure warm/cool(depending on build) vape all around? Pretty much what I am getting at is do the PG or VG or both have a natural flavor to themselves or when combined? Sorry for the long post bro.

I have to be honest, I get a total kick out of those people here saying things that basically insinuate mechs are a dying breed etc, or that to not "evolve" and use regulated technology is bad or stupid. I laugh at that. I'll never use anything with a chip, it is useless to me. Do I say negative things about your new evolved hardware though? No. Let people vape what they vape. I have no need for flashy lights and TC and all that jazz. Sure it's fine but I have zero interest, if I am stupid or a dinosaur so be it. I also prefer nature trails to city sidewalks.

I am very much enjoying my 2015 Woodvil.
Though Im most excited for an upcoming Tmod sx350j and the Cam-Mech with dual batteries.

Mechs, regulateds... whatever. Let's just be thankful our boy Tom is filling the atty niche. It is disheartening to read posts bagging on other BF suppliers. Keep in mind folks, if it weren't for the guys making the mods to sit under Catfish attys, there would likely be no Catfish attys.

I agree , I wouldn't have bought a bottom feeding mod if my only choices were what I've seen for bottom feeding attys in stores.

I thank Tom B. who makes the Tmod. I bought one of his mods that will be here next week and he recommended to contact Chowderhead1972. I love this forum and as soon as I receive my first CAM attys I will be sure to be a return customer on the basis of everyone else's testimony and reviews. Honestly, is there anyone here that misses cigarettes at all? Vaping is so much more satisfying and modular in the sense that you can add or subtract different variables to perfect your vape. Sorry for the rant. You all are awesome and helpful and I thank you.

Toms attys made me look foolish when I first started as I was pumping the bottle and found out all I was doing was pumping the juice into the atty then back down into the bottle.
So I would need to pump a few times as the wick was only getting juiced a little each time.
Now I squonk and hold as in a Russ video.

Well, I've been rocking the Derringer for about a week. love this atty! I think I'm going to need a higher ohm build on it, it gets pretty hot.

I do tend to over-squonk it. Think I need an oring for it. What size are people using for this?

Thanks for making these available to us squonkers Tom!
