I did that for years. That uses a lot more data (like 3x) vs a cellular card. I used to have 60gb months with tethering now I'm 15-20gb and use it a lot more than ever. Catfish is IPad based. The PC is only for programming the dna200.
I never knew about the additional data usage. I wonder why it does that.

I believe there is a conversion going from one to another. Other than that I'm unsure.

Tethering makes the iPad think it's on wifi, not celular. Most web sites and apps have two bitrates - one for each connection type. Tethering makes you use the higher bitrate. Also, the iPad (again, thinking it's on wifi) will get app data updates automatically (doesn't on celular as a general rule).

Well, I hate being one of those guy's who skims a thread & then asks an obvious question BUT is there a list for the cam-m currently? How can I get one of those bad boys in my grubby hands??
I believe the CAM-M is done for now until Tom catches up on other projects and can fund the M again.

Well there you go.... Sounds logical to me.

I do have 3 or 4 Cam-m bodies left but they are untouched and projects are ready to start. I had actually planned on not doing the last 4 so I can have spare parts on hand for catastrophic failures. Those spare parts are worth a lot more to you guys than the money I would have made on them. I hate having to tell people that I can't help them.

Speaking of Cam-M; the last ten shipped today. I do owe a few people wrenches. I went to Home Depot today as well as Harbor freight and came up with a solution to get you by but for those That didn't get the hudy clone wrench I will post when they arrive and just get in contact with me then.
If you don't see you zip on the departures list and you feel I owe you a Cam-M let me know ASAP.

Btw: The Solstices arrived today... Yay! Finally. I know there was a list around here somewhere. I have 15 available. The deck is very cool, think Stumpy with the post further apart and a M-Atty type cap. Smooth and clean.

Honestly I haven't even opened it yet. You and Nautilus are in the same group. I'm off tonight and tomorrow night and while I can spend 10-12 hours at a time working I try to get the time consuming projects started and finished. It's very hard to pick back up when halfway through a mod. Hundreds of numbers and calculations floating around in my head. When I do a mod I don't write anything down, I just build it and send it for blue printing.
