Snapdragon 1.5 update:
These are shipping from England tomorrow, I should have them by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. If anyone wants out let me know ASAP.
Per my email I would like to get a Stumpy or perhaps others if available. Many Thanks.

Would say that both units give off excellent flavor however in terms of draw, if you are looking for big air, the Stumpy wins hands down. It also rocks when employing a single coil. On the other hand, the Thump shines for me when I'm looking for that long slow draw that I enjoy when vaping the bacco flavors. Have found that I get the best performance using dual twisted 28's (built to 0.4) positioned close to the center post with the top of the coils ever so slightly above.

IMHO, the Stumpy has set the bar. However, with that being said, ( and no matter what the style) no one build is right for any and all atty's. One must be willing to throw different builds at any given unit in order to find that sweet spot that works best.

I agree. I'm not really a 'big air' guy. I like a somewhat restricted, long slow draw; and I'm not much for single coil builds. The thump is right up my alley, with dual 26g coils, at about .4 to .45 Ohm's, 2 holes open, each side.

Is this the wrong thread for getting on Tom's want list? Thanks.

No sir, as that list is in this thread. Simply "copy and paste" then add your name at the bottom of the list.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride!...:)

Personally I can go from big air to tight draw depending on liquid and mood. Running the Thump wide open right now.

Thanks for the inputs on thump vs stumpy fellas!

Personally I've been the biggest fan of my thumps. It's the only atty I run these days. The sole gripe I have with it is that it whistles like no other atty when run wide open, but that I can live with [emoji51]

Ill see how the stumpy goes. I'm sure I'll end up liking it. Then it'll be down to deciding which one gets to sit in my new CC mod [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]

I have both. I prefer the Stumpy. From the whistling, which can be mitigated by closing the air down slightly, to the nasty habit I have of covering the holes with my lips when hittin' the dang thing (shorty drip tip), I just never really fell in love with the Thump. The Stumpy, on the other hand, to me, is perfect. More airflow, just as good, if not slightly better flavor, and very rarely do I oversquonk enough to make it leak. YMMV :thumb:

Here, I must espouse the virtue of the Manta2. Lung full of diacetyl goodness.

My 2 favorites; Manta2 and Thump.
The Manta v1 or 2 with the dots all open dual coil .6 ohm gives me the perfect restrictive lung hit..... Can the Thumpy or Stumpy give that kind of a lung hit, And how would you compare the flavor to the Manta and does the heat transfer to the drip tip..... I had to go with glass drip tips for the way I like to vape the Manta .... ? Anyone can answer....I've shelved my other rda's since buying these 2 Manta v2's.!
