I have fiddled with one personally. .but the arrival of my first stumpy and less than stellar reviews defiantly stopped the impulse buy....I really wanna like it... but I think I'm a stumpy convert at this point

Send it to me... Let me play....

I like top-to-side air of the Manta. Top because it doesn't leak and side because I then think most of the air will hit the coil. With true top air I suspect a lot of the air will just make a U-turn back to the drip tip. I of course have nothing to back that up.

Would like to see more attys like the Manta but I guess it is more complicated to design and construct an rda with channeled air. Would love to have one with a little bit more air and easier AFC.
I think you're right. The difference for me is that I vape unflavored, so with flavor removed from the equation, I like true top air better simply because when I (chronically) oversquonk, some juice gets in the side air slots, and it's a little gurgly/washy for a hit or two.

It's not a huge pain in my rump but enough of one to prefer top air or even side air to channeled.

I, for one, think we'd all walk away from this with a better understanding what can be done with common swear words. Have you ever seen Chef Ramsey make a dish with items found in the average homeowners pantry? It's incredible.
 I love you man!

Unflavored seems like a bad idea for,the manta, you are going to love the stumpy. Think fat spaced single coil through the middle with 26 or better yet 24. The stumpy will change your mind about side air, the well is deep. Try a little 5/95 pg/vg, just enough pg to make it wick fast.

I can't wait brother :thumb: I'll go straight for the 24 first. My nic base just so happens to be right around 5% PG

How many mods do you have now? I'll be sure set that many stumpys aside for you.

I didn't buy one .....if I had you'd already be poking holes in it by now....just passing on some of why people don't seem to be liking them...
So what's the complaint? Muted flavor? Build higher in the atty with lower impedance.

I got the usplastic.com tubing for the super soft 8.5ml bottles. So far I think I actually like it better than the stock. It fit perfect into the cap with no leaks. To me it seems like the liquid travels more easily through the tube.

Yep...no more leaks...!

I'm really diggin' my Stumpy's! They have good flavor (on par with the Thump IMO) and are the most vaporious atty's that I have used (with the exception of the Kennedy). I'm using one now with dual 26g at .5 and it's like a steam factory at 30+ watts! It's just a great all-around atty, my new favorite! Thanks Tom!
