Honestly my favorite part about the Origen 16 is it makes a great gateway to all the attys we already know and love. It will be one of my questionare attys. " what don't you like about the Origen 16". If you say it's nice but it's just a little short on air flow I welcome you with open arms and a treasure trove of possibilities. That's how a Catfish do.....

I'm actually hoping it starts a rush of mid sized attys, at that point I will begin carrying them as well. I just don't have much nice to say about a 14mm atty, I,just can't see the love which makes it hard to sell.

you nailed it CAM its a nice vape but man more air!!lol.the 16 is WAY better then the lil atty i got with my SB classic...graal,man that thing was a PI MY A!!i couldnt get rid of it fast enuf, dont know how the italians do them small attys!IVE GOT A TWISTED 28 ga KANTHAL/NICHROME SINGLE COIL atm AND LIKE I SAID FLAVOR IS GREAT..crap sorry for the caps!most anything on utube is in italian or some other language i dont speak but pics help a ton...lol.-Rick

I put a Z Coil in mine and it's okay, but the air is just too restricted for normal use. About 0.6 ohms. Perfect for low wattage vaping some of the chocolate DIY I use from time to time.

Just got rid of mine to @Moxienator. It is a great little atty, definitely as small as I want to go to go. I used a nickel 28g that worked pretty well.

Origen 16 is probably my fav at the moment, but it makes sense really considering I'm a MTL whose fav atties are Origen 16, Challice 3, the ch modded cyclone 2013 version drilled out airflow on standard cap, and now and then a nuppin but i shut it down pretty tight airflow wise.

So how tight is the air? I'm not a big air guy, most of my atty's (vortex, derringer, thump) are only open on the first hole & some of the second.

Edit- how is the airflow vs the Atomic since it looks similar...

Which Atty you asking about, I'm a fan of the Atomic myself & have three (Clones), I also like the Marquis (2 clones), one Lancia, one Reactor and three Divo's, all CH Modded & Authentic unless noted... all have great flavor and are a MtLer's dream since they can get totally shut down, the Reactor & Divo's aren't adjustable but the holes are slightly larger than stock on them.

I'm referring to the Atomic, I run mine in a single coil with the one hole at it's largest opening.

Pretty sure you will love it. Just got my first one a couple of weeks ago & it is awesome. I've gotten to the point of simplifying things & throwing a single coil in there is perfect for that without decreasing the quality of the vape. I am doing my best to hold off on the last few black ones because I have a couple of more atties on the way soon. I'm also going to try the Thump if/when CH does another run. If I don't care for any of these I will get rid of them & get all Stumpys.
Thank you, unior! I know I will like it. Just a matter of finding the right gauge and ohms to throw at it. I can't wait to try it out!
