Nobody wants me speaking in front of a camera! What's another option? A killer PowerPoint presentation doesn't seem as moving. ;)

You really need a face to drive it home to naysayers that this is a person your attitude would end up killing.
I was much like that when I started vlogging. It took me a couple videos before I showed my face and I still hate talking head videos that never show anything but the person talking about something they should've recorded. But there are times the talking head approach is needed. Unless people care in real life nobody would care in a video. Those that would use the internet as a means to say something are saying more about themselves.
You could also do it anonymously. If you have a special YT account that has nothing else on it nobody knows who you are. You can even block all comments so you never hear what people think and then forget you ever made it.

I'm a big believer in the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words"
Here's a short marketers video ... vaping is fun, sexy, and obviously
safe and very popular.

Fun and sexy but I don't get safe or life saving from that. That's not going to sway anyone who wants to ban them.

Ya just can't do 1 production that is everything to everyone
and keep it short enough to retain the audience.

By the way ... "Safe" ... That's implied when ya see lots of people vaping
Life saving is understood because everyone know cigarettes will kill ya.

How to convince those wishing to ban e-cigs???
Those are non-smokers and there is NOTHING that we can do
to convince ANTZ that e-cigarettes shouldn't be banned

Our movement is accelerating and numbers are now swinging
in our favor. And we need to admit that some (a lot) of credit
goes to those marketing PVs.

They ain't going to ban e-cigs ... Just way way way too popular.
There will always be smoking bans and some will include PVs
however, most vapers will just ignore those bans and stealth
or not ... The public knows that no one is going to "e-smoking jail"

PS: I predict we ain't going to hear any saber rattling from
the FDA until after the election.

Edit: Find what hasn't been done or not done well and
if that is produced well ... it will get "some" attention.
However, the Net is too jammed packed with e-cig stuff
for us to hope for "stumble upons" to have much of an impact.

What I think the CASAA is thinking of is something to tell people it was easy to quit with e-cigs when everything else failed and there have only been health benefits compared to smoking. I'm thinking of the same thing but a lot of stories wrapped up in under 10 minutes (edit out all the babbling life story and just put the pertinent information in).

My sister is an ANTZ and even without any prodding she already knows e-cigs are a better option. I'm sure there are many others out there who if they only heard the stories of real people and their real results would be swayed.
If those people swing over to our side the alphabet soups would have no choice but to back off.

The numbers using them helps because it's real life study and it gets people against smoking to see the results like such a video series would do.
But we're still smokers to those who want to ban them, they're not going to listen to simple numbers. If they were going to listen to that pipe smoking would be encouraged by them (the '64 SG report has pipe smokers better than non-smokers), yet it's treated just like cigarettes.
1 million isn't enough to say they're too popular. There are plenty of states presently trying to figure out bans or taxed into oblivion.

Understood ...

As a side note, what really erks me is when people say that e-cigs are safer
than real cigarettes. When in fact e-cigs are only guilty by association.

Proper comparison of the danger would be that of riding a tricycle
on the highway during rush-hour compared to driving a car.

You do NOT need Tons of research to prove the Obvious.

I disagree. ....compared to driving a tank.

LOL, you'd think it would be that obvious to everyone.

But there's a lot of brainwashing going on and it has people convinced they can do stuff like smell a puff of a cigarette from a car driving by spewing out much higher volumes of exhaust. They see a cigarette or vapor so they smell smoke. My sister has claimed she smelled cigarettes pulling into my driveway.
Now that I can smell again I can't believe burning tobacco is a target by anyone who drives a combustion engine. I don't like the smell of a cigarette but I can't stand stoplights.
Generations of brainwashing is a tough thing to beat.

I can. It's a completely different smell than vehicle exhaust.

Perhaps you live in a bigger city and have lost your sense of smells on account of the overload, but if I'm standing on a crosswalk and a car with people smoking out the window drives by, I can smell it. I have also smelled it while in a car pulling up to a light past a bus stand with people smoking.

Naturally, if the car windows are closed, then you wouldn't smell it.

FWIW, these are 4-6 lane main streets I'm talking about in a city of over 250,000, but we generally have excellent air quality here and even as a smoker, I've had a very good nose. ;)

I can smell cigarette smoke coming from a car too. Only if the windows are open of course. I've been driving down the road and caught a whiff, then seen that the driver in front of me or next to me is smoking. It's not an overpowering smell or anything, kind of pleasant actually, but I can definitely detect it now that I'm not smoking myself.

Before I quit smoking (after 40+ years) ...
I never could understand that smoke even on my clothes
was really that noticeable. People would say Yuck, you smell
like smoke ... 15 minutes after I had a cigarette OUTSIDE.

Now ... Whoa ... I can smell smoke anytime I am even in
the vicinity of a smoker AND on their clothes.

I'm not one to tell others "Yuck, you smell like smoke"
but ... Yuck, the smell now is extremely noticeable.

It's not an overpowering smell or anything

I've had non smokers claim it is overpowering as an excuse to get smoking banned in cars.

I guess I didn't word that right. Yes as a non-smoker I've picked out slight smells like weed whacking while I was driving through the neighborhood and nobody within sight was weed whacking. That's different than people who will start that fake cough because they think someone is smoking or they catch a whiff of some smoke.

I thought it was a little too one sided ( what they want us to believe), not even look at the reality of the truth. It is clear they didn't use enough of our side of things which they probably got a lot of, but didn't agree with. There are a few that want to protect us from ourselves, but only WE as a mighty loud singular voice can protect ourselves from them.
