Change {dot} org petition for congress to reject the deeming regs

I have a very good friend (going on 45 years) who's a staunch Democrat and a die-hard Progressive Liberal who believes that BG regulation is the answer to most problems. It's amazing that we're still friends, but there's a lot of history that we share.
I've been remodeling one of his bathrooms for the past two weeks or so and since I see him every day I've introduced him to vaping and explained what vapers are up against with the deeming. What started as an absolute pro-regulatory position on his part has softened with my coaxing and sharing of information. He informed me this morning that he has signed your petition and passed it along to others via social media. For what it's worth he's a stock-broker/financial adviser and part-owner of a wealth management concern. A pretty sharp guy who just needed to understand the other side of things. Your petition helped to open his eyes. Well done, indeed!

Excellent! Thank you for sharing this story I think for most people, who don't know any better, it's easy to think that it's common sense that the FDA should control e-cigs under TC regulations. Unless they've been exposed, most don't really know what those regulations actually are.

I myself have been a lifelong Democrat, I still am in most ways but this fight has made me look closer at every political issue. Sometimes we all need a kick in the pants.

When regulation is put in place in order to only serve the government, it's wrong. When regulation is put in place to serve only those who financially support a government, it's wrong. When regulation is put in place as any sort of punitive measure, it's wrong. Regulation "because we can..." is wrong.
The deeming regulation regarding current e-cigs is...wrong.
