Are the latest versions (recent restock) of the Phoenix 3ml different in any way from the previous stock? Someone posted that they had changed.

The 3ml Phoenix I received is as tlynn stated on the other post, the drip tip adapter is fitted into the plastic tube and the sleeve slides over the assymbly. Also this version has 4 air holes in the lower bottom not 2 as shown in the vid Bad posted on the page.
This made it very airy and on the second fill I was getting dry, burnt tasting vapes. I covered 3 of the holes with scotch tape and aligned the slot in the sleeve directly over the remaining open hole and now it is producing great vapor and taste with the same feel of drag as the 1.5ml version.
I don't know how the earlier version was but in my opinion 4 holes is way tooooo much.

I liked the draw of the two holed sleeveless although I think some might call it airy. The sleeved version with the sleeve on was a little tight for me. The only changes I would have made to the original 3ml Phoenix was to the coil. It sets to far down in the cup on most of the ones I received. After pulling up the coil to make it even with the wick slots and separating the coil wrapping a little it hits like a freight train and tastes fantastic.
Didn't even notice the extra holes till it was mentioned. I can't compare to what it was before, since these are my first ones. Ordered 2) 3ml phoenix bc sleeved, and one has 2 holes and the other has 4. Not sure about the sleeve and pen top, gets top heavy, looks cool though, but on my 1000 ego twist, it's ridiculously long, but I'll get used to it, just like I got used to the length of the twist. Will try on my 650 twist and see how that is. My sleeve doesn't slide around, stays put till I move it, which sometimes I do move it above the airholes to test out which I prefer better. I really really like these phoenix...and so glad I got them, been patiently waiting...and patience paid off. btw...thanks for the extra fast ship. Was waiting for me when I got home from a camping trip.
How did you pull up the coil? I have been having some difficulty with mine (little vapor unless I vape it almost upside down) and when cleaning I noticed that the coil was way down in there...my XL's have been fantastic, and if I could get my 3.3 working like they do I'd be a HAPPY camper!!
I guess now is as good a time to ask as any. Why does one of these cost $10.45 (3ml sleeveless), but a pack of five of the 1.5 ml cost $11.95 ? I'm sure I'm missing something. I'd love to try the 3ml, but it seems more cost effective to buy the five pack of the smaller Phoenix BC's. Many times I just fill five at home, and just head out with them pre-filled.
I've been wondering why the sleeveless one costs as much as a sleeved one. Seems like it should be closer to the cost of the replacements for the sleeve since you're not buying the cap and the tube.
