Changes to the PS USBpass -- Visual Finally!

Hey Guys ...

Been working hard over the past couple days trying to get the revisions to the USBpass done ... Hopefully you will all love it!

Changes:
1. Now adaptable. Just like the Prodigy, there will be a generic version with multiple adapters that can be used.
2. Lighted Tact Switch, slightly bigger and more robust than before
3. Slip/Pin Design, instead of pop through.

That sums up the changes ... here's the final CAD drawing. Production starts manana! Presale pricing will remain the same ... However, pricing may go up a couple dollars after due to more assembly time for adapters! Not entirely sure on this yet, so get them while they are HOTT!

Appreciate your patience guys ... Its been a very hectric and stressful last couple of weeks!

another question, if you catch this...if not there's plenty of time, but i'm sure people are fiddling with their orders still, will you just be combining into one total order if we decide to add to our original preorder on the prodigy?

the concern isn't about the extra shipping, heh, just convenience for it all showing up at once

Excellent Design!!! I Honestly feel that these are "Next Generation" products you are bringing to market Steve. Your efforts are very appreciated and apparent in the quality of design.

Could you please explain the slip/pin design further?

Cash, could you add some way to hook a lanyard to the Prodigy and pass through so you can wear them around your neck? Maybe a small ring or something. I have been doing that for a long time now as a lanyard fits over the standard battery. A rubber band keeps it from sliding off. It sure is convenient.

Hey Mike,

Good question and we appreciate the compliment The process has been *less than smooth* to this point. Design changes at that last minute really end up taking time BUT, we are certainly trying!

The Slip/Pin will incorporate a plastic piece, with built in switch, it is then pinned in to place, and not simply inserted at which point the button pops through Easier to assemble, which in the end, cuts down on assembly time, which means lower costs to the end user!

Good Idea brian ... I'm assuming you are talking about those slim arch type designs that go on the ends/sides of things like a cell phone? Prodigy and USBpass pieces are already underway and at this point, don't want to take time away to add a single piece. Will look in to that for the 2nd production run and perhaps version 2 of the prodigy!

I'm assuming the USBPass diameter is smaller than the Prodigy which would make the adaptors Not interchangeable, but, just my assumption.
