Really your always cool with me and I am always cool with you. It was really not as bad as you might think. It was the part that I said something about the $400 set up. Maybe someone else said it too though.

Whats funny in all this is I learned something the hard way tonight. My $40 knock off lava tube. Its in parts on my desk after one short week. Screwed the DID on it once and went to put a clear tank on it. Now I know why I was having so many issues with dry hits.

Thank God I bought from a good vender. Got my money back with shipping and dont have to send back within 10 minutes of the phone call.
Getting the telescope next and crossing my fingers. Thanks to this knock off I can set up for high wattage and lower wattage in a mechanical mod (10 and 20 watts).
Should I set up the cheap mini for 10 watts and the full DID for 20, or the other way around?

It must have been someone else then, because I didn't mention anything about 400 setups, except in my inquisitive post asking what the heck is being talked about here cuz I'm totally lost.

I didn't know there were knock offs of the knock offs lol. (LT is a supposed Provari knock off without the looks and the menu). Go figure! Hope your next one lasts longer.

any decent chroming will have copper under the chrome,,,and yes there are people that do skip that step and the chrome is flaking after a month

Spraintz, you got that Genny up and runnin' yet? would like to see some pics, and some vaporclouds ASAP.

Exactly. One of the reasons Imeo keeps coming out with amazing products. Plus it does give a chance to some people who wouldn't normally have an opportunity to get these types of products. Or people who don't know if they'd like something and want to try before they jump all in. More than anything, I can't see people who would really love genesis tanks a lot to keep using these but rather go to the better builders after trying one. It's like getting mad at Blu for making garbage e-cigs. For the most part it's how a lot of us made it to something better...

I don't like to see big pharmaceutical type seller/developer that like to control the market. All of us here contributed to this young and almost self contain industrial. We don't want big phama or government wanting to get in here when they see the profit margin on some of the products. Now about the cars. If we put the big 3 up on a pedestal then we must ask why so many of the parts to make them are made over sea's. IMO we should be boycotting them. If not cause they give our jobs away and take our bail out to make parts that break, but are cheaper. Then for the fact that gas is higher then ever yet they purposely make cars that get bad MPG. Totally agree...... People should be ease up on chinese manufacturing on e cig, They invented, up to us to use/try it or just don't. You want it cheap, you want it best you want it everything and complain about it. Don't buy it if you are concern, don't use ecig if you are concern, danggggg ,you can even go back to analog if you like. 1) I'm not ridiculing anyone...people can do as they please and obviously purchase according to budget.

2) I don't protest about fluoride in drinking water, and I agree with you that, that is an additive to a natural product.

3) I have never killed anyone in my life...nor have I ever stole crude oil...governments may have and yes I do use the products of this mineral in my everyday life the same as most people on the planet.

4) I think you may need to look at the left of your screen to see that I'm not an American so all this war stuff is fairly redundant with me...yes the U.K are involved in wars around the world...and before you get all hett up, I'm not an American hater...but generally the U.K forces have a more softly softly approach where as the U.S forces generally go in all guns blazing...hence causing more problems than solved.

5) The White House...couldn't care less...please refer to number 4 above.

6) Not so long ago you were posting in the DID thread yourself...maybe not about this issue, but you were posting...you obviously don't have any loyalty to a decent vendor who admittedly is probably making a decent living from selling these things but also listens to what his customers want and gives good c.s.

They were at first literally being called "DID's". That's a big no no, very misleading, and totally unfair to not only the purchasers, but especially to the original creator.
Some call them "DID Copy!!". Yep, np there, the DID has been copied. Flattery and all that. Not as good as the original, not true to form, but will be fun to try our hand at making our own coils. Really cheap!! (and really cheaply made doh). Good for in a pinch or emergency backup.
Some call them "DID CLONE".... big problem here! These do not have the same DNA (overall size, mesh hole size, materials, airhole size, etc). They are not clones. They are cheap copies! These are not exact-a-tackily like the originals. The purchaser must be made aware that these do indeed differ in quality, materials, size, and all the fine points. Purchase price is not the only difference here.

It's sad to see a person's hard work being stolen, copied, undersold... in any field. But it's really sad if the "close enough but not quite there" copy is being touted as the "boss!". It's not boss. It's okay in it's own way. If it's not for you, don't blame the original maker!! It's not his fault that it vapes as tight as a badgers ahem, or the mesh hole is too small, or ....

It's not a fight. It's clarification. A lot of clear lines are being smeared, smudged.

I don't know any "the" anything, but I do know people. If you want to flame a government policy, go for it, but please stop pelting entire races of people based on the creative fiction that you absorb from the 5 o clock news. About lead...

Its been touted a lot about lead in stuff from China but lead in products such as paint and plastic,etc has 1 purpose and 1 purpose only...to make the color jump out.

Now we are talking about stainless...I dont see why they would add lead in stainless,it serves no purpose and would probably cost more (time to make a useless alloy) to produce anyways.

Now google the rest,I`m too lazy to debunk urban legends.

Yes, I have had this atomizer going strong last night and today. I must say that I can't find any fault with the way it performs, hits and vapes just the way this style is supposed to. The only real issues I can really call out are that of fit and finish.

first, the device I got it for:

and now some comparisons with a high end atomizer of the similar "genesis" style, the bliSS:

here are all my rebuildables. (left to right) Phoenix, DuD/DiDn't, bliSS, and G-Tank-US(...ahhhhh, angels and choirs singing is praise!!!):

Here are all the 510 connections, sorry for the bad pic but you can clearly see the thread quality difference. The (lesser) ones on the left, the high quality machining on the right. Phoenix and DuD have that slight looseness and "wobble" when connected, the good one simply do not budge:

Wanna see what you pay for in a high end atomizer? This is 1 piece of stainless precisely machined for each o-ring, thread and screw/wick hole. Then and insert for the positive post, doesn't get much more solid than that:

In summary, still very worth the $29.99 I paid......absolutely worth a co-op $12. I don't have a authentic DiD or I would have compared but I can say that the actual DiD has the quality and attention to detail like the bliSS listed above.

I do not regret getting this at all, it will serve it's intended purpose: a small, cheap, fine if it gets damaged genisis style for my back-up mod. However, now that I have it and have seen the build of a real DiD, I will most likely be replacing it with a DiD Mini some day as I am just one of those guys that it bugs me when I know that there is something better out there but for now it'll work fine.
