I bought my eGo kit, a couple of bottles of juice, an some extra "stuff" on July 15th. I've kept accurate records of everything I've bought for vaping since. Shipping is included. Paper towels are not included. :)

July 213.89
August 85.74
September 27.95
October 115.19
November 56.48

I realize that November still has a way to go, but I placed an order for some EMDCC's on Friday which haven't arrived yet, and received some juice a few days earlier, so I don't expect to order anything else for the rest of the month. (If I do, it's because I order a Buzz Pro. It's on my wish list.)

Over a four month period, I've spent 499.25. That averages to just under $125 a month. The average would be a lot lower if it were not for the startup costs. (Obviously, I spent a lot more in the first couple of weeks than I have any month since.) I have a fair stock built up.

Compare that to what I was spending on smoking. 3 packs a day, or more. That was 2 cartons a week, at $40 a carton (buying the cheapest no-name cigs I could get). I was spending $320 to $360 a month on cigs.

I'ts not easy to calculate exactly what I've saved, because I didn't completely stop smoking as soon as I started vaping. But I'm certainly ahead by a fair amount already, plus I have batteries, attys, cartomizers, juice etc on hand for awhile. And I'm certainly saving money every month from here out, even if I go buy a nice mod.

Starting up is expensive but I was spending about $200 a month on cigarettes. I have probably spent that much in a month on vaping. I don't expect to spend that much every month though. I don't have a handle yet on just how much I'm vaping - if I had to guess, I'd say 2ml's per day. I find I rarely put my pv down when in the car or at home. At work, I'm still trudging out with my smoker friends for a good vaping session. I stealth vape when at my desk.

I ordered sample packs from a couple different vendors, so I could try different flavors without making a big investment. I was introduced to a great clove flavor at our local shop, vapehut.com, called Black DJ Rum on their website. The bottle says Black DJ Clove. It's my go to flavor whenever I have a strong cigarette craving after vaping dessert flavors.

Good luck!

FYI: Actually, Djarum is Indonesian clove cigarette brand. Indonesian people love clove cigarette called kretek here. There are many kretek brands here i.e.: Djarum (Djarum Super, Djarum Black, Djarum 76,etc), Gudang Garam (Gudang Garam International, Gudang Garam Professional, etc), Sampoerna (Sampoerna A-Mild, Sampoerna Hijau, Dji Sam Soe, etc), and many many more. Those three are the well-known brand kretek manufacture.
