Everybody should check their bank accounts and or cc online statements because a whole group of people have had a breach to their accounts in the last few days. Mine was for $9.84. Everyone has had the exact same amount used without their consent from an unknown .com. check your accounts people. It is alot bigger than the Target thing because I never shopped target. Spread the word. Happy holidays

If all they're doing is charging 9.84, sounds like an easy clean up for the CC companies.

Yes it is a small charge. However it is comprimising peoples personal finances and could be alot more whenever they decide to strike again. Im just looking out for others man.

According to the fraud guy I just talked to he says it is a test charge to make sure the number is a good one. Later they will clean out your account.

Editing to add that I have never shopped at Target with this card. I do most through Paypal and I shop at Amazon with it.

I checked. So far, so good. Shopped at Target too. I get direct deposit, with the money split into two accounts. Most goes to my main account, $100 per pay period goes to a pre paid, reloadable card that I only use for online purchases. If you don't have one, I suggest the American Express reloadable card. They offer the same protect against fraud as they do for regular credit card clients, and you avoid the bulk of the fees by only have money direct deposited, and never taking cash from an ATM.

Posting this thread in case others might benefit that don't check out the Ahlusions thread.

If you have been doing any online shopping lately, and probably even B&M..oh hell..EVERYONE..

Check your CC/debit accounts for a $9.84 charge that you aren't quite sure what it could be. Mine was from a CWEBCS.com but the site apparently varies. The ONLY reason I realized this was a fraudulent charge was from stopping by this forum. It's quite widespread. I posted this info on my FB and come to find out a couple of non-vaping friends have it too.

It's such a small amount I didn't think much about it with all the shopping I've been doing for the holidays. Just thought I'd put this out there in case it might help someone else. I have no idea for sure which website I got it from, but I am really thankful for this forum or I'd never have done anything about it..and my whole account could have been wiped out later on as it's probably a "tester" on my account.

Now..GO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT(S)!!
