Chinese attack selling copy of ggts

No, I haven't found any statements in his posts for his reasons or even answers to people blaming him of copying your invention/design, Imeo.
But when people started complaining that his clone costs double than the ones which are now beeing offered, he made a post stating that he had the s.steel parts produced "in very high quality" in china, while he had the ceramics and rebuildable part made in Korea.
As he is the "official" reseller for "Mr gungam style" aka Mr Adam probably "team-rampage" was involved.
So my guess is he just had the opportunity and the contacts to make some extra Euros, and took the chance.
If I watch the pictures and the movie from tobeco showing the new clone, they seem to have gotten even more wrong then the length of the center post. Regarding where they put O-rings and where they do not, they seem not to have understood how Odyseus works. Or maybe they do, but their product does not work as intended...
Hopefully this will not stop you from developing sophisticated devices.

Of course I will not stop doing what I am doing all those years. But I am wondering that if they dont understand a device then why they just dont copy it exactly as it is? Its very simple to copy the dimentions!!

This is an economic issue and also an issue concerning intellectual property.
Silver, imagine you wrote a hit song in the US snd some unscrupulous person copied your song and brought it out in another country and took credit for it along with your money? How would you feel about that?
For all of you that feel bad about picking on the Chinese, I respect your feelings and admire your empathy, but the reason why stuff is cheap from China is because China doesn't respect their own laborers. They pay them squat, they use child and prison labor, they use dangerous practices where people lose limbs and eyes every day. If you feel you have spare empathy, feel empathetic about the people of China butmfocus your frustration where it belongs.
Educate yourselves and see all the rip off they've done on New Balance shoes just as one example. Go to Canal St in NYC and look at all the $50 Rolex watches and Gucci handbags. Those that make and sell those products are stealing and stealing is no different if you use a pen, a lathe, an instrument or a gun

Maybe optimizing the production, so that it actually works as intended, would only increase costs, as a lot of people will buy it anyway.
Once too many people complain and sales go back, they will maybe start an update and sell the "new improved original latest design" .. and people will buy it again. (Like it happened for example with V-Max (which wasn't even cheap!))
Sad thing is that this business model seems to work. There is a huge market for more or less cheap imitations of quality products with a good reputation, be it watches, clothes, IT equipment, car parts, toys and ecigs...
This problem will work itself out. As new laws come into effect protecting the Chinese people, companies will have to play by the rules. As the economy rises in China as it's doing, the salaries will go up. As they go up, the costs in China will become less competitive.
The bad news is that the unscrupulous people will then go in to rape and pillage in Viet Nam, Cambodia and other poor nations.
The problem isn't the people, its the crooked governments that turn a blind eye to the crooked suppliers. The government and the suppliers get rich on the backs of the poor. Focus on this my friends. No one is blaming or saying anything negative about the Chinese, nor are we "picking on the poor unfortunate", in reality, we are protecting them. It is the people that buy this crappy junk that support the raping and pillaging of a society

Normally the Government of China Charges $40k for a baby adoption but Giulia was damaged merchandise, she was born with a hole in her heart and my sister got her for $20k and without the normal 3 year wait.
This is her after 24 hours of good nutrition, clean clothing, and total adoration by a loving family. For all those that think we're picking on the poor Chinese, think about why China, having millions of adoptable babies, especially little girls, sell them to unfortunate couples that can't conceive? These kids are born in baby factories and stored in warehouses. Think on that for a while

You have to update a product only if you want to add something new to it, not because you want to correct something bad on it. But if you want to correct a mistake then you have to send the nessesary parts for free to customers. At least I have done this 1-2 times in past, sending free stuff to all people that had an issue and that was my mistake. The only time that I didnt do that is when I made brass axis and pins for button. And I didnt do it because GGTS worked fine with SS connections. But I discovered that brass doesnt produce black spots easily, so I made them and I sold them.

Chinese government is anxious to become a leading economic force. They are succesfull with this because they are quite ruthless to achieve this goal. To their people and their resources. That is scary for us living in Europe or USA. But we went through this untill about a century ago.
Someday wages will rise in China, and laws make it more difficult to exploit workers or the environmet.
Then the cheap production (and the tolerated stealing of other peoples ideas) will move to Africa or maybe even North Korea.
Paper, gunpowder, printing (improved later by Mr Gutenberg) came from China. Even the Spaghetti where cloned by this Marco Polo guy.

Nervermind, trying to explain my view seems pointless. I am not talking about the Chinese poulation working under terrible circumstaces (hence my Walmart remark) but about a few small time mod makers trying to make money for their families as well. I am just having a hard time when a country and its population are refered to as "they" putting everybody in the same category. I enjoy exclusive mods be it Caravela's, Chi You's, Super T's and obviously GG's not discussion about politics. Just seems a bit pretentious. Danke me and my 1606 Stealth are out having fun vaping.
