I understand that people are mad/annoyed at copiers but saying "China is the worst", and "I'm sure it's a piece of. S... Like the rest of THEIR stuff", sounds harsh and borderline racist to me. Just enjoy your authentic GG product. No need to get so worked up about it. And in regards to the comment "like the rest of thei s...", I'm sure you used "chinese" product during your early vaping career, like attys, cartos, Ego etc. I don't like copys, but if I would get upset eveytime I see a LV knock off bag or a GG knock off, I would be miserable. It's a waste of time. Let's just enjoy the real deal and ignore the copies gracefully. BTW, this is in no way a personal attack (Serpent, you know I owe you) but let's just be a bit more sensitive before kbocking down a country as a whole

I agree with silverrock and I believe that some of you are overlooking certain aspects of this thread. Yelling "Chinese" and "China" is just not professional, and it just makes some of you no different from those hardcore religious mongrels who create wars and conflict. Have some respect and handle this situation more professionally instead of acting like immature kids.

Take a good look around your house and I bet that more than half of your stuff was made in China. This isn't a politics 101 but a mod sub forum, let's keep it in perspective. It is an outrage of theft that has been going on for so long without an uprising or protest, that people have not only become numb to it, they are accepting of it....and participate in it!!! And the more people participate, the faster the world economy will be driven into the ground. This isn't just about GG people!!!!
This is a common Chinese practice of business and you want to say how unprofessional WE are being....common.

I don't really understand what you mean Imeo. You know that I love your products and probably would still smoke if not for my Stealth; I don't like copies of any kind. I'd rather have ONE nice purse than 10 knock off's, same with watches or mods.Would I get upset if somebody stole my songs and pretended they wrote them (not that this would ever happen), of course. Everybody that who knows a bit about mods is aware that GG's are outstanding products and in a completely different league than the copies.

Of course we use China products but we must not use China stolen from another country products. I dont buy anything that is made in China and it says "Armani" just because they stick a label on their product

silver dok and Vinny, you have points here but I think you miss the real deal. GG people are very kind, very clever and very proud. So you are. So lets see in depth this issue. And they (Chinese "cloning" companies) are not common, petty thieves. They aren't just stealing a design, or a name, they are also stealing jobs from around the world. And everytime someone buys their stolen product, they support and perpetuate that theft.

This is getting out of context and I will not go back on my word about this issue being handled unprofessionally. I agree, it is wrong for some of the companies (who are not just the Chinese but also Americans) to constantly create imitations and therefore commit theft but America and other countries are also to blame. Some of us even support the Chinese by buying their products unknowingly (Apple products, and pretty much 90% of all electronics in your household), and therefore we help support their economy and these imitators get a share of it.

What I'm trying to say is that constantly making threads such as this one in the GG section is not helpful. We might as well make/rename this place from "The GG" to a Anti-counterfeit section. At most, what we are doing is promoting their products by making these threads.

Again, I would rather see threads about improving the GG products, innovating, and helping new GG users instead of introducing them to these hateful threads. This thread is no different from those squabbling politicians who get nothing done other than spreading their pride and condescending nature.

But I don't see how discussion of a real world problem that is directly related to ecig products as well as the health of the world economy will hurt the community. It's not about spreading hate, but rather awareness of the consequences of the continued path of supporting these business practices, wherever they are occurring. It just happens that China is by far the most aggressive with these practices. And to be fair, my concern is not really with the companies but rather the people who so casually and knowingly support them without thought to the long term effects.

That is never a bad thing, and yes I agree & share your concern about those who support them without thought. But if you look at the first two pages of this thread, you can clearly see what I'm talking about. I have a few really good and dependable Chinese friends who are aware of what is going on and are actively trying to stop it. Seeing those few "generalizing" posts puts a bad taste in my mouth even if they were not intended to be.
