Whare,I so enjoyed your trail riding story. What an experience that was to be riding bareback without a bridle in the wide open like that WOW that took a lot of guts !!

Thanks but that wasn't guts - that was just juvenile stupidity. I lived through it. And later, one of the horses, in a corral, while I was feeding her a few fronds of grasslike something-or-other, mistook my chest for grass and gave me a beautiful yellow bruise to remember her by (but I had to take responsibility for my actions - although I'm not quite sure what went wrong).

It wasn't nearly as bad as another horse that was doing some kind of swimming therapy and as I helped get her into the trailer, managed to crack a few ribs (another instance of me cursing my own stupidity - sometimes you forget just how big they are in comparison).

Good Morning Volties!!! Rise and Shine!

Coffee's on and some banana nut muffins hot from the oven. Help yourself.

Also, please watch this "futuristic"? short film. Similar to 1984. Also it brings to mind about our past conversation about too much government control over our lives. The primary actor is using an e-cig by the way. Enjoy!

Good Morning Volties

Cafe Verona coffee is brewing.

JoAnne - How is that cute little spaniel of yours doing.

SandySu - How's the shoulder?

Raynes _ Any photos of your cute big horseys?

Kico - Any photos of your cute big horseys?

Yeah, I have questioning mind today.

Seems we both made coffee this morning! Thanks. I've never had verona coffee so I will take a cup.

Spanky is fine and much happier since he is getting out more now that the weather has warmed up a bit and the sun is shining so bright. Alas, there is a possibility of more snow starting tonight into Saturday, so we are enjoying it now.

I had a slight mishap yesterday getting out of our Ford Explorer... fell to both knees and right elbow HARD. Don't ask me how that happened, just being careless... feet got tangled up... anyway down I went. Nothing is broken but Oh the pain. This morning, I'm one big bruise. Knees and elbow swollen and multi-colored... feeling pains all over. Backpains have now been added to the mix. I don't think it's a good idea for a 64 year-old body to meet asphalt in this way.

Well... that's my report for this morning, but I'm tough and will heal. ;)

Sitting down, facing forward.
I clicked "like" because you're OK, JoAnn. We sure don't bounce like we used to!

This is very thought provoking. Given Mayor Doomberg' behavior, transfat, salt, drink size and now styrofoam, it isn't all that hard to imagine. I do wish there was more of the video, great story and excellent effects.

Sounds like something I would do, Joanne. Take some Ibuprofen, you poor thing.

Awsum, your dog was so cute as a puppy. Every time I see your avatar, it makes me smile.

Catlady, how many cats do you have?

Kon - We'll have to get you out here to one of these rodeos and get you on a horse chasing a cow:)

Yes we do. I have a Percheron here that I raised from a baby, anyway I got the bright idea that if I trained him to move his feet when I tapped his foot with mine he'd learn to watch where he put his feet when he was older. WRONG All I did was teach him to play footsy,he thought it was a game.

JoAnn I hope you heal really fast,I bet you are more than a little sore today. Bless your heart,it hurt me just reading about your fall.
Awsum,Bo is majestic . Lexi and Bo are both very regal to me. Gosh they are HUGE !!!

Thanks Raynes. Yes I'm sore today but I felt foolish and embarassed more than anything initially. I forgot to mention that I had Spanky in my arms when it happened. As I was going down, the only thought in my mind was not to fall on him so I twisted my body and braced myself to protect him. He was just fine btw... with no clue what just happened. No thought for myself, only for him. It happened quickly and in slow motion at the same time. I'm sure if someone was watching, they were OTFLTAO!!! The things we do to protect those we love.

Interesting concept, but it didn't really go anywhere. It's like a trailer for a longer film. It didn't seem complete, since it wasn't explained why doubles of people were coming back from the future. Yes, Alana did say it had something to do with the extensive ID system, but still … It was technically well done, though.

I'm sorry to hear you fell. It sounds awful. Please heal quickly and take it easy till you do.
