How are ya Lizzie, that wasn't me that gave you the bit info that was Cat. LOL. My favorite bit is a sweet iron. Copper works well to, either one. You may have to try a few to see which one fits Wiseguy and see what he likes. Over the yrs I've had horses that prefer one type of metal over the other. Jeffers Equine used to have a very good resource about bits in their catalogs.

Yeah, what Raynes said: sweet iron.
Hiya, Raynes. It is sooo good to see you back.

Cindy, I have used Wizard Labs (The Perfumer's Apprentice / The Flavor Apprentice) Regular Carmel and Caramel Candy. Neither tasted like stale coke to me, but I mix mine with Double RY4 and have not tired them alone. I have yet to find ANY flavor that tastes good alone, most are mixes with a primary flavor and side additives. I think you might want the Caramel Candy type of flavor.

I usually only try them out alone when I first get them, just to see what they'd be good to mix with. So far, the only one I couldn't stand was marshmallow. TFA...ok, I'll try theirs. thx

Old wabbit is staying up very late tonight. Just watched "True Grit" and now "The Bridge" a new thriller is coming on. It is the premier episode and looks real spooky. Love that type of film.

Wabbit

I just watched Zero Dark Thirty. Pretty intense and I didn't get some of it the first time around, so now I'm watching it again with subtitles! I'm such a ditz sometimes. But I think it's just because I'm not really in the mood for this kind of film right now (happened with Argo too). Oh well, let's try Magic Mike now! :p

Remember, the bit Lizzie is looking for is much smaller than the usual places carry. Here are some choices.

Mini Driving Bit

Half Cheek Bit, Half Cheek Driving bits, Mini Horse Bit, Driving Bits,Equestrian International

Amazon.com: Weaver Leather Miniature Bit Snaffle Mouth: Sports & Outdoors

Isn't it odd? Some bits I saw only come in one size, not a choice of sizes. Did you measure Wiseguy's mouth? What size of bit are you looking for? I noticed some were plated, so beware of them. I made that mistake back when I first got Penny. The bit was trash in a very short time.

Reading up on how to rebuild T3 coils. I blew 2 of them this week! Wire snapped at the coiled part on both of them! and it's only Wednesday! they weren't even that cruddy. If this is how it's gonna be, I can't afford these things. Gonna try the method using the 4/40 screw and the beading needle. Has anybody tried that with success?

Hi Cindy! Do you happen to have a link to where you're reading. I love the T3's, but I'd like to know how to fix 'em should they give me trouble in the future. Sounds like they will.

I just received my first little jar of graham cracker and Earl Grey Tea which someone suggested as a tobacco mix or enhancer. Not together. I have not done any mixing of new stuff for at least a week. The last time I tried a bunch of my many tobaccos with a light mix and none were better than my regular mix. I would like to find a fruit mix that I liked.

Catch you all later, I am getting into this "Bridge" TV drama.
