I've been gone so long IDK what to say. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Raynes! Not sure if we've met before, so sorry if we have! I was gone for quite a while, myself. Welcome back, though! :)

Here ya go Lizzie. My new camera came in so the pictures show the actual color so to speak.

My I love me wall of some of my triathlon and marathoning days.

Whisper on the new Ikea footstool. I found faux sheep skins to give her some grip to jump and warmth. My computer where I talk to you! I still have some art work to buy, so the other walls will have something else besides me plastered on them. :)

Looks great, Tail! I love it! Will you redo my spare bedroom into an office for me? ;) Looks like Whisper approves, too! :)

Good night, all. This evening, I'll post a picture of catalpa blossoms, even though they're finished blooming now. It seemed I just noticed them, and then they were gone. I wonder if some years are better for them than others. This photo was taken when I think they were more lush. They smell great, too.

How beautiful! Hope you are resting well, SandySu!

BTW cindy the black rubber like ring you have your hearts charm on...where do you buy them...? I have a few from past AIV orders...just wanted to know where to get more..thanks

Good question. I'd like to know too.

The o-rings you might want to look for at a hardware store. I lucked out, as my husband has a huge kit. Hubby found his kit on Amazon, but it has a ton of different sized o-rings in it. He was even able to fix one of my drip tips with an o-ring a while back. He put my butterfly charm on my MVP beauty ring with one and modified a few eGo lanyards for our Kanger batteries, as the buttons are flush with them.

Deb, that wasn't actually my setup (I think it was AIV's), but about to get some myself, for when I try the Vision VTs. I looked it up last night, and the size is 15mm (x 2.5mm. 15mm outside diameter [O.D.], 10mm inside diameter [I.D.]) or 3/8" I.D x 1/2" O.D., 1/16" wall. This would be an exact fit for that gap between the VT and the button, right under the threads (can't screw those in all the way). The 15mm comes in COLORS and can be ordered from Etsy. These are cool - I think they're used for making jewelry (licorice leather? chain maille? dunno, some new trend I'm behind on. I'm still on Madonna's rubber bangles from the '80s). The 3/8" ID ones (ick, in black only) can probably be had at a hardware store. But you guys are metric over there, so dunno... do you have any artsy-craftsy type store close by? Maybe they'll have the cool 15mm colored ones. Or if you wanna wait, I'll send you some (I have to order packs of 25 of one color - maybe gray, red and that acid green).

Here's the charm I wanna get. Look familiar? ;)

Cindy, that charm is beautiful and so perfect, for you! I am going to have to look through my jewelry to see if I have any small pendants to use for my other batteries! :)

Slept quite a bit last night and this morning! Finally!

The tackle box isn't as big as I thought it was (didn't really pay attention to measurements, like I should have ) and I'm not quite sure I like it for our vaping supplies. Maybe it'll work as a jewelry box for me!

Take care, everyone, and have a great day!

Added: The tackle box made for the perfect jewelry box. Just can't buy anymore jewelry, as it's full! LOL!

Good Morning Volties.

Thanks for the French vanilla coffee, nice change of pace for me, Raven.

Cindycated - cute charm.

Cloudy and 74 degrees at the .... crack of dawn.

I think I will take my sweet time getting the chores done today. I still need to clean the water tanks. The farrier is coming at 12:30. Hope it isn't 95 degrees out by then.

Maybe pick up the yard a little since it is trash day tomorrow and you better have your trash out early!

I made lots of Chinese stir fry for dinner last night so I would have left overs. That means don't have to cook tonight except for the rice.

I have one plant that didn't make it onto the improved and rearranged drip lines so that is a must accomplish.

Oh yeah, I need to make a dental appointment. I hate going to the dentist but one of my teeth is getting very sensitive to hot and cold so I need to get in there. The dentist is always very costly even with dental insurance so I find it easy to put off going.

Other than surviving the heat, nothing to exciting going on here. The beans started blooming. I need to check out the rest of the garden and see if something else is starting to produce like the summer squashes.

I have to clean tomorrow so I am not over doing it today!

Must be going around? I hope this is not related to too much vaping! I also have one tooth that is starting to get sensitive to cold, but I have an appointment in early August, so I think I will just wait it out. By the way - I can't find the recipe using Earl Grey Tea. Did you have one that used this flavor?

PS: Thanks for the French Vanilla Coffee, love it.

NOpe, no Earl Gray recipe here.

I just have bad teeth and they have been bad teeth since I was in junior high. I haven't gone back in for a several years. I bought two used cars worth of dental repair in three years so I basically said I am done for awhile. Last two years Hubby went in and it was something like $2,000 per both years - with dental insurance. Something just seems so wrong about that. It's hard to find a dentist you like and shopping around is next to hopeless. I have tried. Hubby at least likes this dentist and they are closer to us than our previous dentist. We think the new one is a little cheaper than the old one but it is hard to tell.

Good morning, all! :)

Except for some more mid-summer gardening, not much going on here. The heat is starting to feel oppressive.

I thought someone mentioned E-Smarts awhile back, but don't remember who it
was now.
I had gotten a couple from Drew at Vapefest, but couldn't find them on his site.

Really liking them a lot, and wondering where I can find them.

Good morning, ladies and gents. Dentists? !!!!!

Yes, it's a coincidence that I have a dentist appointment next week. Just a routine cleaning. I'm fortunate to have healthy teeth, but they accumulate calculus and need cleaning more often than some others'. I've often wondered if it's the hard water here. The dentist says it's more likely my diet. I'm pretty good about flossing and brushing, so with regular dentist visits, my teeth do OK. Yes, it's expensive, but I figure it's money well spent when I consider all the problems neglect can cause.

Did I mention I had to bake a cherry pie this morning? In eight minutes it will be out of the oven. Home grown cherries from last year mixed with the last of the cherries from our trees this year, Should be tasty. I have three more quarts from this year in the freezer which means three chances at delicious cherry pie. One of my all time faves.

Cloudy, 76 degrees, can't wait to get outside to get something done:)

Bill & I have decided to get an air conditioner for the bedroom. I haven't been too uncomfortable sleeping this summer, but Bill has, and we keep discussing it year after year, so I guess we'll finally do it. This morning, we measured the bedroom and I looked online to see how many BTUs for that space, then did some shopping around and reading reviews online, and I think I've decided on this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/General-E...-Star-Window-Air-Conditioner-AEW06LQ/20449870

Before I order it, does anyone who knows more about these things have any advice or pros or cons to say about this particular model? I haven't bought an air conditioner in many years, and the little one in my office is still going strong. It's a Panasonic. One summer the heat was simply horrible, and Bill & I rushed out and bought it, so it was an impulse purchase. In fact, lots of models were sold out, and this was one of the few left that day, so that's why we bought it. I guess it was dumb luck, since it's lasted so long. This time, I decided on an Energy Star model, thinking it'd save us in the long run on electric bills, and it's better for the environment.

Any advice before I hit Add To Cart?

Additionally, if we buy an air conditioner, it almost guarantees that this heat wave will be over and the rest of the summer will be bearable. Isn't that how it always works? Already, just agreeing to buy it, today is about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. Actually, it's lovely today. I hope it stays that way, because this afternoon, I hope to go riding.

Yeah, they used to give us bonuses in the form of extra employee discounts when we met our sales goals. I think one time it was like 42% off! But I could never eat another Swedish meatball after that. We got fed that a lot!

My friends used to come over and say, "hey, I didn't know there was an IKEA showroom here!"

I had to LOL about the Swedish meatballs. When I was stationed on Diego Garcia for a year, I couldn't eat rice for a few years afterward because they served rice at every meal. ;)

Tina - What I did is what any novice can do. Just yank the carpet out, lay some under layment and then the pergo and paint the walls and ceiling! I did add some switch plates to give it a little more change. I really don't like painting, but I've gotten better at it over the years. Painting stucco is not like painting a flat wall and takes more time and effort.

Sandy - I have no idea about swamp coolers so I cannot help you. Good luck with your choice!

Tri - love the doggie picture!

Good morning to all. I didn't get all my housework done yesterday, so that is priority one today. I did a little here and there but not the whole thing. At least I got the laundry done and picked up most of my mess. I rented a movie from Amazon Prime last night called Cloud Atlas. It was a very cerebral movie and I might end up buying it to watch it again as I know I missed some things as it jumped around quite a bit. It was certainly food for thought and a different outlook on life.

Hope everyone has a great day
