Its taking for agers...im getting there wabbit...working on a lemon meringue cheesecake Atm...cheesecake is such a mission to get right...think ill put a few bottles down...even with steeping...cheesecake just takes time..i feel... i just got some vape mail...its so cool...I only put order in yesterday morning an its here now...good having a DIY vendor whos only a hour away...so next mission is a forest fruit mix...thinking!!!

Best thing to do with cheesecake is to stick it in a drawer, forget about it, then be pleasantly surprised in about a month.
With me, even then. Really anxious to try your recipe though. Thanks for sending that. And Cappela's lemon meringue is really yummy. Especially with steeping and a couple of drops of lemon juice. Vaped that all day yesterday!

Good night, all. This evening, I'll post a picture of catalpa blossoms, even though they're finished blooming now. It seemed I just noticed them, and then they were gone. I wonder if some years are better for them than others. This photo was taken when I think they were more lush. They smell great, too.

Reading up on how to rebuild T3 coils. I blew 2 of them this week! Wire snapped at the coiled part on both of them! and it's only Wednesday! they weren't even that cruddy. If this is how it's gonna be, I can't afford these things. Gonna try the method using the 4/40 screw and the beading needle. Has anybody tried that with success?
Ive been doing this since the T3s came out...some arrive ok for a few refills, then its pull all wicks out...do a dry burn..wash...make a cotton ball taper. that slids in coil ..2 1ml top wicks.put head back together..trim down..to cute little bunny like tails...test on my ohm meter..if all good...takes a few drags for flavour to come through...some are hit or miss...but I have more hits then misses...took me awhile to find my balance...with the t3s...im happy now...ill be trying the 4/40 screw idea soon..and needle beading...if I can get my fingers around it...;)

Hi Cindy! Do you happen to have a link to where you're reading. I love the T3's, but I'd like to know how to fix 'em should they give me trouble in the future. Sounds like they will.
Man, it's taking FOREVVVVER to load pages! :grr:
Here's the link. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/smokeless-image/433221-rebuilding-t3-coils.html
Somewhere in there is another link to a video. Heck, why don't you just fast-forward to the video - at this rate, you won't be able to get there 'til tomorrow!

In a couple of other threads, they said don't wrap it too tight (can't with the screw), and don't shove more than 4mm of wick total in there (coil plus flavor wicks that sit on top). Then they went into using rolled up cotton pads or yarn, but nah, silica's what I already have.

I was OK with just dry burning and replacing the flavor wicks, but now the coil wires are snapping in half! :grr:

Lizzie, I always used bits with copper inlay. The copper stimulates saliva production, so the horses mouth stays moist (and thus comfortable) with the bit in. I got my guy when he was green broke--and he had been started right. I never had any problems...except when he saw his bridle, you had to be quick! because he'd be trying to stick his head in it. He'd wrap his neck completely across my middle, trying to nose into the headstall. I used a regular snaffle for years, then moved to a type of curb with a broken bit and short swivel shanks. I doubt that that is applicable to driving, though. But a cold iron (is that the right nomenclature?) sweet iron bit with copper inlays is the only thing I (or any of the people I rode with), used, whatever the configuration.

Thanks for the input on bits, Catlady.

How are ya Lizzie, that wasn't me that gave you the bit info that was Cat. LOL. My favorite bit is a sweet iron. Copper works well to, either one. You may have to try a few to see which one fits Wiseguy and see what he likes. Over the yrs I've had horses that prefer one type of metal over the other. Jeffers Equine used to have a very good resource about bits in their catalogs.

Well, sorry about the mix up:)

I'll check out Jeffers Equine

Tail, is that the floor you were asking about? It looks nice. How does it match the other part?

It is lighter than the living room which has darker tones. But, it goes well with the wall color and off the tile hallway. I'm not at all concerned about it being a tad lighter.

Hi Raynes, nice to see you're back.

Tail, an "multi tool" might work better for floor installations. It'll let you cut square and flush to run the floor under door jambs and such.

I used the dremel to cut the metal threshold holder. I used a jigsaw for the intricate cutting and a circular saw with a rip fence. This wasn't my first time around the block doing pergo. ;)

Wow! You really did an excellent job and it looks professionally done. Love the color that you chose for the walls and the flooring. You have good taste in your selections. Whisper approves of it too!

Thanks JoAnn. After the paint dried, it does match the color swatch. I used eggshell on the walls and ceiling. Whisper was the supervisor and she said I did the best job in this room! :)

Tail, if you got the sheepskins from IKEA, they're not faux. They're real. I know this, because I remember how gamy they used to get sometimes, when we piled them up really high in the bins!

Oh, dang. Now I'm craving cornbread!

Well that explains why Whisper went after them when I sat her down on it! She's cool with it now and enjoys laying on them. I didn't smell anything on them and they really do look fake. Maybe they went faux on them as they were less than 10 bucks.

BTW cindy the black rubber like ring you have your hearts charm on...where do you buy them...? I have a few from past AIV orders...just wanted to know where to get more..thanks

Deb, that wasn't actually my setup (I think it was AIV's), but about to get some myself, for when I try the Vision VTs. I looked it up last night, and the size is 15mm (x 2.5mm. 15mm outside diameter [O.D.], 10mm inside diameter [I.D.]) or 3/8" I.D x 1/2" O.D., 1/16" wall. This would be an exact fit for that gap between the VT and the button, right under the threads (can't screw those in all the way). The 15mm comes in COLORS and can be ordered from Etsy. These are cool - I think they're used for making jewelry (licorice leather? chain maille? dunno, some new trend I'm behind on. I'm still on Madonna's rubber bangles from the '80s). The 3/8" ID ones (ick, in black only) can probably be had at a hardware store. But you guys are metric over there, so dunno... do you have any artsy-craftsy type store close by? Maybe they'll have the cool 15mm colored ones. Or if you wanna wait, I'll send you some (I have to order packs of 25 of one color - maybe gray, red and that acid green).

Here's the charm I wanna get. Look familiar? ;)

Cindy - you made me run into my office to check the tag on those sheepskins. Of course, I cut them off and threw them away. So I just checked the website and the ones I bought are faux. ;)
Maybe they've changed them to faux since I worked there last. Good thing too - those things shed like crazy and they stank!

It looks like they are still selling the real thing too. Glad I bought the fake ones! Whisper likes them and they are cheap to replace. I really like browsing the home goods there (I go to the West Sacramento store). They have some really cool stuff.

Yeah, they used to give us bonuses in the form of extra employee discounts when we met our sales goals. I think one time it was like 42% off! But I could never eat another Swedish meatball after that. We got fed that a lot!

My friends used to come over and say, "hey, I didn't know there was an IKEA showroom here!"
