Four years to retirement and I can think about that, Raynes.
I need an anti inflammatory e-liquid, though. My degenerative arthritis is killing me. I've had it since my teens and a knee surgery I swear was meant only to bilk my parents of their savings in order to line the pockets of the "sports surgeon" who performed it. They didn't have arthroscopic surgery available back then and my forever swollen knee just doesn't work well. Now, the rest of the joints are getting a bit achy, from a genetic aspect. And to think I want to retire to Oregon for the mild weather because I can't handle temps over 85 or under 40 for extended periods. /sigh
Good Morning Semi and any other Volties around.
Getting a rare late start this morning. It felt great to sleep in for once.
Wish I coulda slept late but I've got a built in alarm. I've been fasting since last night to go see the Vampire. No breakfast, no coffee, no nicotine. Drank 4 bottles of water and vaped a little 0 nic DJ. But when I got home I ate like a ravenous wolf. 2 hash brown patties, steak and jumbo eggs with 3 cups of coffee and topped it off with a carto of Blue Ridge Mist. Hope that tides me over till lunch.
UGH - I'd never even make it out the door with no coffee and no nicotine. Just ... couldn't happen.
My breakfast consisted of 4 strawberries, however, I'm fairly certain that they must have been grown somewhere near Three Mile Island.
I gotta do what I gotta do to stay alive long enough to be a burden on the taxpayers.![]()
That's a good mission in life.
I'm sitting here waiting on a shipment of over $13,000 worth of medicine. That's the going rate for a three month supply of Copaxone. Probably why they require a signature.
However, it is not courtesy of the taxpayers, it is provided by the benevolence of the pharmaceutical company. Do you sense a degree of sarcasm in that statement?
Benevolent Pharmaceutical Company. Isn't that an oxymoron?
Good afternoon to all, BTW.
Did anyone else watch the 3-part series about the Hatfields & McCoys? It was really well done and interesting.
